Re: 2023 Season Thread
JDL had a bad week with off the field stuff, he was out of sorts but didn't play terrible either, made some good throws but wasn't quite there mentally. Definitely liked how crisp everything worked with Fifita, he knew when the middle of the field was wide open to take the free yards running for a f...

Re: Conference Realignment
It's likely all this will change again dramatically in another 8 years or so as the media market continues to evolve. Right now we're at the crossroads of failing traditional linear TV, while streaming paywalls aren't quite there yet to offer security or enough guaranteed money. Now was just a terri...

Re: Tommy Lloyd
Tommy just needs to fix a few keys things: 1. Get much better guards. 2. Learn that the PAC-12 tournament means absolutely nothing, and play 12 guys each game to prevent injury to key starters and reserve strength for the following weeks' games in the NCAA tournament. Maybe win a game, then ok losin...

Kinda feels like this team still has some of the old Sean Miller DNA, where we're a decent regular season team racking up wins due to our dominating size and frontcourt play, even though we're down to just 2 Miller recruits in Kerr and AT being main contributors. Last night Tubelis and Ballo were un...

Re: Bribery Scandal - FBI Probe - Book Richardson Involved
So in the end, they concluded the 2 assistants acted as lone gunman. Miller wasn't sanctioned. Nothing direct on him ever came out in evidence to link him to the allegations. The program did do some bad though and got some additional light sanctions, plus time served. 5 years it took. There was blood.

Jedd had a good offseason recruiting, will be interesting to see how we start this year. Would be incredibly ironic if next season and thereafter we're still dealing with Sean's sanctions while he's off coaching another team. Where would you put our head coach vacancy on the list of top program job openings? I'd say starting in the top 7-10 nationally range. Ahead of us are the big 4, throw in Michigan and no list is complete of course without an upper East coast team, but then we're right there.
