Re: Tommy Lloyd
Damon took a poor Pacific team and made them respectable. Not great, but certainly an improvement in the past few years. Damon has earned the right to move on to a better job, but all the way from Stockton to Tucson? If Damon were not an alum, would we even consider him with his record? No. But who...

Re: Tommy Lloyd
I think they should just hire Pastner. He can recruit and if he could get a solid assistant to help him, I think he would do fine. I'd take Damon with JET on staff over Pastner in a heartbeat. And I think Damon is a lousy hire. Would JET stay on staff with Damon? He from what I have seen is a bette...

Re: Tommy Lloyd
I just don't get why so many people want Lloyd hired. The guy has never been a head coach, just an assistant. What makes him the best candidate? I think Gonzaga's success is mostly due to Few. There are head coaches out there that are more qualified than Lloyd. I am not going to panic like many her...

I will say this- I know RJ has zero coaching experience..... but he would be awesome to have around every day RJ was clearly a Miller fan, I wonder if we didn't squander some of his support over this fiasco too. Cool, we pissed off the one former player that actually puts his money where his mouth ...

Goodman can eat a sack of shit So who you got O'dogg? They should offer Lloyd ASAP. Then they should offer Damon if that falls through. If you don’t like either option fine, but you won’t like any of the other options either. They aren’t getting someone you want. Yep. The having a candidate pool of...

Depends how you look at the big picture. On April 6, 2009, as an Arizona basketball fan would you have been excited if you knew the next 10 years of results? Zero final fours, a handful of PAC12 titles, 3 Elite Eights, a few really bad NCAA early round exists to substandard teams, and 1 super domin...

Didn't UA kind of make a half-assed run at Few before Miller was ultimately hired? I mean, sure, if you have a vacancy at a desirable west coast P12 school, you make a call to Few. But at this point, you probably don't put too many of your proverbial eggs in that basket.

Maybe Sean Miller is the best bridge coach we can get. If you believe it's the next coach after the next coach that's the truly important hire, maybe this iteration of Sean Miller is the bridge between the two. Miller comes back and rights the ship for a few years, and then can move along with the p...

I get what you are saying, and I agree. Welsh isn't a great example IMO, but the point holds. I'd like to see a more long, athletic big that attacks the glass & defends. I heard 98 loss was caused by liquor. If you have guys like RHJ, AG or NJ you can make pack line work. It doesn't work with guys who can't or won't play high level defense. This is answers the questions for me. Why instill a defense that is so dependant on personnel, whether size or physique? Event...

If CSM stays...IF...I think a move to more of a Villanova/ Virginia/ Gonzaga recruiting model may be just what the doctor ordered for Miller. Will be interesting.
If he stays, do we think BWill is back in the fold?
IF not, thoughts on JC or Grad Transfer PGs?
