Re: Rich Rod
This would really suck if Rich Rod left. GB needs to give him an extension immediately to squash all these rumors. The coaching speculation comes with the territory, but it gets old fast, that's for sure. Problem is, Muschamp is finishing out the season so that makes the chances that they'll announ...

If anything RR will use this to get more money for his coaches to stay at Arizona. Is Casteel on anyone's short list? Perhaps Rod Smith if he develops Anu. It's not so much about keeping the assistants here, it's that RR wants to take care of his assistants. That's been a recurring theme for him ov...

Re: THE Utah Utes Discussion & Predictions Thread
Utah just went up against Stanford for an overtime game and those two beat the hell out of each other. That could end up being a factor. Arizona needs to find some drives to keep the defense off the field for a little while. The Cats have shown all year that they're well conditioned, and they'll nee...

QFT. They've got monsters on that line. The fact the RR was able to get Wilson over 100 yards on those guys is a credit to him just finding a way. One more big D-line to face coming up.UofAlum05 wrote:UW has 3 1st rounders on their front 7.

Little things make a big difference
This win was all about the little things. UW didn't handle them and Arizona did. Examples: 1. Penalties. UW just wouldn't cut it out with the holds. If I can see them clearly from the upper deck, it's blatant. 2. The botched PAT. Not a kicker issue, it was a snap problem. Margin of victory right the...

I never park in a garage - takes too freaking long to get out. I always park in the neighborhood south of Sixth and it's easy to make a getaway to anywhere south or east. That's me as well. Meep meep! I'm not a fan of selling beer at the games. It'd be more trouble for the school than it was worth.

Stranger things have definitely happened. Mora is a better coach than Sark. Stanford looks better than they did earlier this year. I'm not saying it will happen for sure, but this scenario certainly isn't out of the realm of possibility. All the Cats can do is go out there and win their games.

We get a lot of PI calls because we start figuring out which cornerbacks can't cover our outside receivers and Solomon starts throwing that way. Notice that most of the PI calls are at the sideline. Early on it surprised me about how bad ND was at watching Golson's blind side. ASU kept sending corner/slot blitzes from that side and the guy wasn't accounted for at LOS and the RB was slow to figure it out. More important than UWs troubles moving the ball is that they rely on turnovers. They're +10 on the season and they force a lot of fumbles. Arizona, on the other hand, doesn't turn the ball over a lot. UW has a solid front seven so we'll need to see much better execution from the line and Solomon. B...

Good win for asu. Golson was crap and cost them the game. ND outgained asu, but Golson turning the ball over lost them the game. Thing is, most of those turnovers were forced. Have to credit asu for that. This game was eerily reminiscent of the UA game last year. The one thing they showed that they...

They were starting walk-on freshmen left and right in 2012. That's how little RR inherited on defense. And yet they were two defensive plays away from winning ten that year. If they'd had a few more guys, we'd be singing a completely different tune.
