Re: Sweet 16 Xavier discussion thread
That is my understanding of it also, one year at Western Michigan, sat out then played two years for Xavier and there is definite interest in Arizona, but I will double check on that, this is what I saw on another board, there was a big discussion about him, I will have to try and confirm.

Re: Sweet 16 Xavier discussion thread
Keep a close eye on Matt Stainbrook for Xavier, he is graduating and has one year left to play. Word is his people have reached out and suggested he may look at Arizona as a possibility. Very good player. That would really send their fan base over the cliff. Yes, it was possibly more of a possibili...

Rabb loves Arizona and wants to play for Arizona, several influential people in his life want him to play for Cal. We should know around April 1st what his decision is but Arizona is right in the mix and likely at the top for him personally. Does not mean we will get him but from what I hear it is w...

Form your own conclusions, but that kind of a second half will not win the conference nor the conference tournament and will lead to the most embarrassing first-round upset in the history of March Madness. It's really not a performance a team this talented can afford to have this late in the season...

Kentucky, I dont think he could beat out those two kids. Gonzaga's PG is a much better shooter but not the facilitator TJ has been of late. I think he would start at Kansas and most every where else with maybe a few exceptions and some that are a push where he is even with what said team has. Tyus J...

Statman, I think that was his name over at the old TOS site, he had a website that had stats for just about every college and pro basketball player that ever played, he was an encyclopedia of statistics and he was really good at what he did. I lost the URL to his site and since everyone moved over h...

Edgerson used to throw some mean elbows, he was suspended for one in particular. Probably most of the time guys do not intend harm, just making space and what are they to do with four guys hanging on them trying to strip the ball. But obviously there is always the asshole who throws them with bad in...

Always see people saying things like "they don't have time for practice in the league and thus they wont be able to improve their games as much as they can in college." Yea, that would not be good, we do not want to be anywhere but the West but I think barring a major collapse we will stay in the West, if not the 1 then 2 or 3 with Zags as the 1, which is ok by me. I cant imagine any situation where we end up anywhere but the West unless we completely collapse down...

The worst thing that is going to happen is we dont get the 1 seed in the West but that would probably mean Gonzaga gets it and we are the 2 or 3 in the West and when you think about it that isn't a bad thing, I would be happy to be in the West with the Zags at the 1 if we dont get it, yes please.

Funny thing is Utah started out in a zone and it was effective for the first part of the game when they took that lead early, then for some strange reason they went to man and that was all she wrote. A real head scratcher that.

Re: Rebounding
Rebounding has been our biggest problem all year, I think Gumby has rightly zeroed in on that also. It has been a huge problem and very disappointing when we see Tarc with 0 and Ash with only 3, you have to get more boards out of those two slots. However, I think there is a reason we see a box score...

Re: TJ McConnell.... True Wildcat
TJ is fun to watch. He has really stepped up. I have mixed feelings about us relying on him so much for scoring but it is definitely keeping the other team's defense more honest as they are not able to sag off him as much as they have in the past. If he keeps playing at this level with that type of ...

Would he start over Simon next year? The irony there is that PJC himself is proving it doesn't matter if you start or not, if you can play you will get minutes, pretty simple. I think we would give Kentucky a game. One thing about Miller's teams, they are not easily intimidated and will stand up and fight against anyone. That said, Kentucky looks real good right now, though it is early, a lot can happen between now and March. Most of the time all our brackets are wrong wh...

His ball pressure and fitness was instrumental in today's game, he was indeed literally everywhere. We could really use his scoring ability and hopefully he will find that groove and soon. And Dempsey is a warrior, love the guy.

Good for Nick. For an undersized shooting guard with an inconsistent jump shot, at least he gets his opportunity. Most likely ends up in the D League and later in Europe, but at least it is another drafted Wildcat on the books. I am not so sure about that, the Rockets were horrible on defense and i...
