I can see why that took a while. Much more substantive than I expected and sounded like a sworn affidavit with all the declarative "I did not" statements -- Miller's and U of A's lawyers would need time to crawl through each of those sentences.

10,000 subpoenas? Doing a great job of keeping them secret. From personal experience, I don't think the FBI would disclose to a company's attorney how many subpoenas had actually been sent out in an active investigation, so they were probably ballparking their estimate. The FBI didn't make an allegation against us about the 150K, otherwise it would have been in the complaints part. So you can't refute an allegation they never made. An allegation is not the same as a complaint, you can make an allegation which can be true or false, it does not mean it is a complain...

I believe early in the season, the kenpom ratings have a lag element that relies on the teams performance in the prior 2 or 3 years, so I would expect our defense rating to reflect that. I know he has talked about this effect on his blog, but it's not that great to search.
