Lost among all this discussion is the fact that Miller accepted zero responsibility for himself and/or the staff for any responsibility for last night's loss... ... "just sayin'", as they say. Why should he? It's clear he's been preaching the same thing to the team for a while now. The message does...

"Lost the team" my ass. Those same people probably supported Chris Rodgers against Lute. Who delivered these guys a Pac-12 title last season and who coaches up our U.S. Olympic team? Re: Sean Miller
We are not a very athletic team and Oregon is. In fact, we're one of the less athletic teams in the conference right now. A lot of that has to do with Trier and Ray Smith being out with injuries. If they're on the floor, we become a very athletic team that can guard well. We've got three undersized ...

If JJ is a sure fire one and done, what difference does it make academically? I mean really, most freshman courses are foundational. In the last 1:05 vs. Virginia, Wake Forest missed 7 FT's and loses at the buzzer on a three pointer. Miller said post game that if he would have had to do it over again that he would have still called those 2 early TOs in the second half again. It did get the team on track after the worst 4 minutes in the CSM era that I can remember. Lute wouldn't have called a time out even if he had one. But dou...

Why not just run your offense and feed the post? Our bigs have decent moves inside. If Cal doubles, then you get the open look for York (or someone else) that you want. I think York might be afraid to give up the ball and then has trouble creating.

Our inability to reach 80 points had more to do with Stanford playing a lot of zone, which requires more time to work your half court offense for a good shot, as well as Stanford playing slow on offense. We were still pretty efficient and shot the ball good but not great.
