Re: Tommy Lloyd
I agree there was concern on whether top recruits would take a chance or if transfers thought it was wise to sign with a young head coach. Hell before KJ and Love signed that angst was here in spades. What we have in a coach is a guy that took an out of shape player that could not get a minute at go...

I think we need an annual series with GCU soon. https://c.tenor.com/nuQBdq4JF6EAAAAd/tenor.gif This. GCU is a for profit Christian school that offers nothing to the UA. Beating them is like a 6th grader beating up a kindergartener, and losing to them would be a disaster. I know what they are. If th...

You’re moving the goalposts again. The issue isn’t “contributors”. The issue is: lack of ncaa tournament performance coupled the very unconventional roster composition when it comes to teams that have made F4s and won natties. When the AD is looking for folks to commit to $25,000 a year times 10 ye...

Re: Lets Talk '24
Ben Gordon is probably a better comparison because of build alone. We will be incredibly young in a new league but like the way the team is structured. Would like a big PF that rebounds the hell out of the ball because although we have numbers down low most are a bit light and need to add strength. ...

Play solid. Don't try and force the ball inside which we have a tendency to do at the start of games and after halfs. They have momentum. We started to act like we were invincible with hero passes rather than good fundamental basketball. Second half will be a war. Have to turn the momentum around. I...

I don't think there was any mutual agreement with Miller. They refused to extend him and decided to go in another direction. I will know how we will play based on 2 factors. Caleb Love and Pelle's first free throws. In games we struggled you can see it when they struggle in that first set of freebies. So in reality a couple of glowing issues. We were out rebounded. That should not happen. KJ Lewis has hit a wall lately and is not having the impact he should. Larrson was terrible in the first half other than a corner 3. In the zone he is the guy that needs to flash to the middle because he is a go...

The Oregon game. But I started my posts about the picture saying “if it’s real”. The team came out flat twice this week. Both losses could have cost them a seed. I think it’s fair, as fans, to be upset about it. So you think that looks like Las Vegas? Maybe old downtown Vegas where locals went.

That buyout has eliminated most teams from even considering him including Louisville. You can get the highest level coach for 2 years for that kind of money. Interesting. Long Beach State has terminated their coach (Don Monson) but was allowing him to play out the season since Irvine and San Diego were prohibited favorites to win the conference title. Guess what LB State just won and will be heading to the NCAA tourney. Great story.
