I know nothing about the team or the sport, but I read an article blaming the first match result on Santa Clara’s Covid rules conspiring to keep Stanford from playing before yesterday and stating unequivocally that today’s result would be different.

Bear Down Ladies and keep proving them wrong.

This is going to be an exciting year. They have talent and are playing very well together. The matches during the Spring season definitely helped.

I watched parts of the the first game off and on, and they didn't look good. But, they won the second and third, and then got the decisive fifth. So, they're 9-3 with a four game winning streak, and they're 4-1 since the loss at top-ranked Texas. They've got Oregon St at McKale at noon on Sunday (& Pac-12 Network.)

The ranked Pac-12 teams are:

6.) Washington (Home: Oct 8 / Road: Nov 7)
13.) Oregon (Road: Nov 23)
14.) Stanford (Road: Oct 3 / Home: Oct 29)
15.) Utah (Road: Oct 24 / Home: Nov 12)

Cats win their first two matches. Cisneros is the real deal and Wilson is going to help this club a lot. The team looks more athletic than last year's team.

Also, this has to be a candidate for play of the year.

Need to brag a bit. My Granddaughter is a freshman on a full scholarship playing for Pacific out of the WCC. They were picked to finish 4th in the coaches poll this year in their conference.

This is the first weekend and they are in Vegas and the plan was for her to redshirt but darn if she didn’t play her way into the rotation. Helps that she is 6’ (grandpa is 6’6” so I take some credit) and absolutely crushes the ball.

Next year when they play at Arizona it will be the second time I will root against the cats(niece pitched for Florida St in softball against the cats in a regional in Tucson). Very proud old man here

Arizona goes to 6-0 with an impressive win against previously unbeaten Alabama. The Cats went 3-0 in the Alabama State tournament. Wilson and Robey each had 16 kills while Cisneros had 15 digs. Also, Scoggins had 48 assists.

Fun match against ASU last night. ASU has a very good squad but UofA played them very tough. If the Cats could reduce their serving errors by half they'd be very competitive. Hopefully they can clear that up as the season progresses because this is a team that could make some noise if they improve on the simple things.
