Who are the greatest female athletes in U of A history? I'm embarrassed not to have names at the ready, but I need them for something.
Thanks in advance for any help.

Meg Ritchie too. She was a student when I was although I don't think I ever had a class with her, and was really famous as she was the NCAA champion in the discus and shot put.

Brigetta Barrett. Silver medal at 2012 Olympics behind a Russian (so it could upgrade to gold in the future)

She is a pretty good singer, too.

I would say Alison McCutcheon. She is one of the fastest players Candrea has ever had. She was the Ricky Henderson of softball.

I’d throw in Nancy Evans and the softball player who calls games for ESPN now.
Totally drawing a blank on name.

I was in the U of A Hall of Fame for the first time a few weeks ago. Very surprised but I could not find one mention of Annika Sorenstam in there. I asked the guy watching over the place and he didn't know who she was. Holy Cow.
I dont remember seeing much or possibly anything about Amanda Beard in there either.

No idea why she wouldn't be more predominantly displayed, she was quite dominate.
