Best Burger in Phoenix?

Post by UAdevil »

Heading up to Phoenix for a last minute work meeting with Suns PR people tomorrow at US Airways. Looking for a badass burger that I can't get in Southern Arizona for lunch. Recommendations?

You looking for a restaurant with a waitress and stuff? If yes, Delux on Camelback and 32nd street.

The much beloved classic of all classics is Wineburger: http://www.originalwineburger.com/ - but I've never been!

Does anyone know what Original Hamburger Works is like these days? I haven't been since before college, but that used to be the classic.

The Counter custom burgers is downtown. A 14 page burger menu, and it's pretty good.

Best bar burger I've ever had is still at Max's, down in Glendale.

My favorite was Chuckbox in Tempe. Cash only and Soup Nazi style ordering, but those burgers were amazing. Right across the street from the ASU main campus, though.
