Re: Global Bear Downs
We were in London a couple of weeks ago and I gave and received a Bear Down from a guy wearing a UA hat.

I was thinking it could have been Chris Rogers, who played ball for some Sonoran Nogales team but think he left the UA a few years earlier.Carcassdragger wrote: ↑Wed Oct 30, 2024 4:44 pm Chatted with him a bit and he left the U of A in 2012. Didn't catch his name but he made a clutch hit to help the home team to a win.

Re: Global Bear Downs
Had dinner at my favorite suburban Melbourne Thai restaurant last night.
Guy in another dining party came in with a bottle from a friends winery and that attracted SWMBO's attention. As we were leaving she paused to complement him on his choice and noticed he was wearing a Sedona T-Shirt. Didn't stop to get acquainted beyond an "I'm from Tucson", but does that count as a global Bear Down?
No I thought not.
