Yeah I always get the small burger there.pokinmik wrote:I prefer getting the little cheeseburger at Five Guys, and by little they really mean normal. Keeps it less greasy that way. The regular cheeseburger is a double. Bun:meat ratio should be 2:1 for a burger. Or if you're feeling frugal, get the regular and ask for an extra bun to make two less-sloppy burgers. The seasoned fries are great too, I can down a brown bag of those no problem.
Looks like they wanted to concentrate on just the fast food chains. The kind of places that usually have a drive thru. Red Robin is more of a sit down, order, and wait type of place like Chili's, Applebees, etc.rgdeuce wrote: Final four in no order: Culver's, Fuddruckers, Big Boy, and Red Robin (why the hell isnt it in that bracket?). Red Robin is the best overall for me. I was eating there twice a week for months during my wife's first pregnancy, was very thankful for that particular pregnancy craving.
Probably because Red Robin isn't a fast food restaurant? But I agree, their burgers are really good especially the one with an egg on it.rgdeuce wrote:Whataburger is pretty good, definitely not the best though. Their A1 burger and the green chile are pretty damn good, but only a once in a while type thing for me. Five Guys is hit and miss. Sometimes it is outstanding, other days its ehh. In N Out was the greatest ever til it came to Arizona. The novelty wore off, but when it was an only when you are in California thing I would have probably had it number 1.

Who gives a good shit about "most people"???Chicat wrote:If this was a "Best Fast Food Burger in New Mexico" I'd be inclined to agree with your disqualification.pc in NM wrote:Five Guys doesn't have green chiles - Disqualified from consideration...Chicat wrote:I'm like your polar opposite. Much rather get the double double protein style with grilled onions at In'N'Out.
... though, what they do have ain't all that bad.
In the other 49 states the presence (or lack thereof) of green chilies is not a deal-breaker for most people.

There is never the right place (or time) to mention a vegetarian burger.OSUCat wrote:North Star has the best vegetarian burger. Is this the right place to mention this?
It was so fucking delicious.catgrad97 wrote:Enjoy that extra butter on your burger, Chi.
Going to try this. My burgers always come out meh.. Might get the fattier meat, too.Merkin wrote:I often butter my buns (hamburger buns that is) and put them on the grill. Real butter of course.

When I make burgers at home I often chop up green chilies and onions and put them in the ground beef. Delicious. Even works for ground turkey.

See, and I originally thought that. But why are Bob's Big Boy, Johnny Rockets, and Fuddruckers on there then? Those are all sit down and some actually slower than Red Robin.azgreg wrote:Probably because Red Robin isn't a fast food restaurant? There's been rumors of fatburger but not yetEOCT wrote:You guys don't have a Fatburger in Tucson?? But one in Chandler, another in Lavee Village?
Chicago? Kanye West had a chain ov-em there, but shut down?
Hey: https://www.fatburger.com/menu/
I got one down the street in Redondo Beach. I head over there a say "Make mine an XXL, put a nice fried egg over it, the chile next, then cheese, onions; and gimme a skinny chile fries on the side. Buncha mayo and a few drops of A-1 if you got it. Also , a choc shake and five bucks of quarters for the juke box. Shout out EOCT, huh?"
This, but I have to share the fries.pokinmik wrote:I prefer getting the little cheeseburger at Five Guys, and by little they really mean normal. Keeps it less greasy that way. Tried it a few years ago. Was not really impressed. I figure I'll give it one more chance someday before placing it into the "meh" column.TucsonClip wrote:Am I the only one that really likes Fat Burger?
Also, In-N-Out is solid, but definitely not as good as its made out to be. However, I also dont eat McDonalds or any of that shit.
I mainly eat at local burger restaurants. If you come to San Diego, dont miss Hodad's.
We went here yesterday and it was amazing. I had the Chorizo Burger with several different sauces. Sriracha Mayo, Curry Ketchup, and Sweet Chili. Ranch dressing is free too. Winning! Its across the street from Blakes...Jefe wrote:http://tucson.com/entertainment/blogs/c ... f887a.html
Graze Premium Burgers opens at 11 a.m. today at 2721 E. Speedway, in the former home of fro-yo purveyor BTO By Choice.
Graze is owned by Paolo DeFilippis, and Jeff and Fran Katz — the folks behind the healthful-leaning Choice Greens chopped salads and sandwiches shops.
Graze’s burgers are made from antibiotic- and hormone-free Niman Ranch beef and there is a grass-fed beef option on the menu. Kennebec potatoes — the taters of choice for finer restaurants nationwide — are hand-cut Belgian-style and double fried. They also serve free-range chicken, organic sugar cane sodas and organic soft serve.
Graze is open from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. Sundays through Thursdays and from 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. Fridays and Saturdays. Follow them on Facebook.
Folks in Tucson, Arizona, will soon know what a Lotaburger is. Blake's Lotaburger will open its first Arizona location there on April 1, expanding its burger empire to three states.
The restaurant is famous for its green chile Lotaburger, breakfast burritos and seasoned fries, but you don't have to tell New Mexicans that — the company has 75 locations throughout the state.
Last year, we reported Blake's Lotaburger originally planned to open its first Tucson location by midsummer. The company already has plans to open its second Tucson location by the end of May.

The Illinois tradition of the smashburger that the chain Smashburger is based on has blown my mind. You drive out to these really old burger stands in these small towns and experience those perfectly built cheeseburgers, with their patties smashed thin so they caramelize into crispy "meat chips" at the edges, which unites with the melted cheese to become amazing perfection.Irish27 wrote:Had Smashburger yesterday in Oro Valley. I liked it and will go back.
I ate there in Manhattan years and years ago. I had no idea they had become a chain until your post and I googled it.Catintheheat wrote:Shake Shack is so expensive it's crazy. Their custard shakes are over $5 for a small cup. A regular cheeseburger is over $5. A 16 oz draft beer is over $5. Only Five Guys has prices that outrageous.
