I can still get to the free boards but I have to use a direct link, not from the home page.

When I click on Forums, I see The Wire and Message Boards.

When I click on Message Boards all I see are 4 forums, all premium.

I Googled GoAzcats forums and I get to the free board.

That is frickin' weird. Basketball is unlocked.

Maybe it was AZCAT49, is a mod in the FB forum, same with RCWildCat. Just didn't want to watch it anymore.

Only about the first 3 pages of threads are locked. Weird!

Nope. I went back a year. Almost every threat from last year this time to present is locked. Roughly 2 dozen at random threads are not.

It's really peculiar.

And he removed all the links on all his web pages to the free boards (without removing the boards themselves).

So no one new is ever going to find the free boards. Probably just one more step in shutting them down for good.

There hasn't been a non-sarcastic, non-derogatory, or non-inquisitive post made there since September. Everyone left, even those who found no fault in what went down. No sports talk. Only threads on what happened and why. Not good for business. So....

MAO gets his hope: Death Of Life

This transition has been a bit slower than I'd thought initially, but we have the community. We will make this transition work, then see how it can grow.

To paraphrase Christy Brown, fuck all forms of message boards that's not 100% commitment.

I didn't log in, but when I went to TOS and looked as a guest (after adjusting the setting to show old posts, since noone has posted in forever  ) all of the threads that show up are locked

I didn't know there was a selective locking feature. Looks like MAO loves me more than some of you. I might send him some muffins.

All the weirder if the threads are inconsistently locked, at random, in only one forum, for just random posters.

Only reasons I even click back is to make sure any cry for help is met with a link to this place.

No Poster Left Behind

GOAZCATS is dead to me.

I wouldn't post there if he paid me.

It appears I still have posting and new thread creation privileges in the quirky forum, so the locked threads just seems really stupid.

Before the plug was pulled, I went ahead and spent time visiting almost every recently active visitor profile, to capture the extent MAO went to discredit me, this site, etc. Let's just say I'm pretty shocked at the findings.

He edited visitor messages from years ago, having nothing to do with this site or what happened.

Moronically, he didn't edit every message, leaving me dozens of messages to prove initial content, while at the same time providing dozens more of edited to proof his asshaterry.

I'll randomly post some favorites of mine. Some that reference posters specifically.

The problem is people aren't notified they have rep, so they have to look at it. I remember sending rep to Flipper and Officer Craig, but I have my doubts if they ever saw it. The best solution is to finish the migration so others see us when they Google.

I'd sue his ass, if I were JMJ and I had the time to waste and a lawyer friend who'd do it pro bono.

oh and why'd he edit your posts to point towards TOOS (that OTHER other site) with the drug dealer running it? are they in cahoots now?

I have no idea. He's seriously unhinged. What sucks most is it doesn't say by whom it was edited, unlike posts, so there's plausible deniability. Stupid.

I agree about the lawsuit. That is definitely a defamation of character. Although I doubt anyone would believe it, or the few who do see it. As far as linking to the other TOS site I think it's more out of resentment and spite to make JMJ look bad. Mao has taken this very personal and must lead a miserable life. He ought to be pitied in a Scrooge kind of way.

I'd be pretty shocked if there's no server-side log of it being edited. Or maybe that's just me watching too much fictional computer stuff on movies/tv

Wonder what their scale is based on? What is a "3"? Just went over to TOS and there hasn't been a single post in 3 weeks. On a cursory review, it looks like only a handful of posts over the past 2-3 months.
