The Vegas prices thing is so odd to me. I grew up there, and if there were one advantage (and there weren't many), it was that eating out was dirt cheap. This was not limited to buffets. Steak or prime rib for about the same as a burger in the burbs. The key was to eat and leave.EVCat wrote:Haunted Hamburger is really more for the view than anything. Good burger, but generally speaking, a zoo to get in and out of, and not a super burger, just a good one.
I really like Bachi Burger in Vegas. A little overpriced, but what isn't there?
Fatburger for the chains wins hands down. For the massive chains, Wendy's double, though I couldn't care less about frozen vs fresh. McDonalds serves it purpose as a dirt-cheap burger that holds all its contents (because it has few) when eating on the road. But, not a favorite.
Five Guys is good, not great. I like almost any burger, but the Five Guys pricetag is ridiculous. Just stop giving away more fries than the biggest glutton could eat and cut your margin.
I really like Smashburger, but probably for the flavor of everything else in the burger. The meat is...meat.
Looking back, I'd like the thank The Mob for its business model.
