Finely diced poblano, garlic and onion mixed into ground sirloin burger, grilled medium, topped with poblano slab and cheddar, housed within grilled 10 grain bread. Kale, red cabbage, carrot, jicama salad with balsamic. Cabernet to wash it down.

Note to LH: I'm really jealous you have whisky in the house.

*Edit: You're a cruel man, but fair.

I remember blackjack pizza!

We did DQ drive through and my kids made a mess of my car. But it was fun and their first time out of the house/neighborhood in 13 days.

Regular cheeseburger with store bought bun, some low-quality ground beef from the deep freezer, American cheese, thousand island, iceberg, onions (a lot), yellow mustard and pickles. With serious eats extra crispy roasted potatoes. And yes, that is ranch. And it was fucking fantastic.

The one where you cheat instead of starting with the whole chili pods. I use the ground red chili powder that the guy outside the front door of Micha's sells. And then I follow MJ's recipe:

Yea you definitely should. I would love to see your creations haha. I'm a bit more low budget and only cook for 2. Also I've never gave rats ass about plating or presentation.

Also I want some Somali donuts.

We have amazing neighbors, except for the people from Ohio next door who hate the Somalis for racist reasons.

I read an article recently that interviewed a bean distributor and he was talking about how he feels bad but he's getting rich off this virus. His sales have skyrocketed and he's swimming in cash.

Last week, they still had a big supply at Rincon Market. I'd guess they still do.

I put in a Rancho Gordo order a couple of weeks ago, and it's scheduled to arrive in late April.

I love meatloaf. I've made a dozen different recipes easily. Oddly, my favorite so far is a turkey one with cheddar cheese and spinach mixed in as well as: Trader Joe's umami mushroom powder, marmite, Worcestershire, and a touch of msg. Juicier and beefier than any meatloaf I've ever had. Credit all to my wife for this creation.

Last night was pizza. Dough was amazingly a near clone of the serial grillers crust. This was perfect because half was a copycat version of their bone collector pizza.

Some overly blistered Padron peppers in olive oil, sprinkled with salt. An aesthetic nightmare, but still tasty. And a variety of pre-made skewers from the local supermarket. Also tasty. This is about the level of my ambition beyond ordering takeout.
