Thanks. That's what I thought.

The flood watch got extended through Monday now. Must just be because the rain didn't start until this morning.

I just installed this app for road alerts in AZ:

Is that okay? I used to live in The Springs (used to be the Hollows) in an apartment right on the banks of the Arcadia wash. I was glad to be on the second floor instead of the first.

In Illinois we had a wash that ran along our backyard and that was stressful.

We have a roof leak coming through our ceiling into our kitchen.

Guess the landlord should have taken care of that roof coating they were getting bids on earlier a little quicker!

1.75 inches overnight at our place, bringing our 6-day total to 6.2 inches. One of our 20+ ft saguaros toppled over last night, missing the wife's car by 2 feet.

There was a swift water rescue in the Rillito by Craycroft. 2 guys decided to kayak down it and got stuck in the rapids. Had to be airlifted out.

I wonder if they evade paying for their own rescue on a technicality, since it might not fit under the Stupid Motorist Law.

Here's video before the rescue: https://www.facebook.com/groups/Weirdst ... 657900068/

One of them got swept further down but they saved him too. I wonder if they get the bill for that. Hopefully.

I also saw Rose Canyon Lake is up over 6 feet since last week and its now running over the spillway which is very rare. Mt Lemmon has gotten 14" so far.

Definitely should bill any dipshit that tries to kayak any waterway in Arizona right now and needs to get their dumbasses rescued. It’s not the taxpayers’ job to rescue you from your own stupidity.

It dumped rain for 45 mins straight. Way more intense than any other storm so far for me. I wouldn't be surprised if it was at least another .75-1.25 inches. That'd put my house at about 5-6 inches of rain in 5 days.

I have no idea what a toad strangler is, but it reads like something I would read in a Stephen King book.

It has been jarring going from the driest 2 years I've ever seen to the wettest month ever in Tucson. My neighborhood after tonight has probably had over 9 inches of rain this month. It's rained like 23 of the 30 days in July so far. It's rained twice as much in July as it has in London. I'm almost getting used to constant rain
