The rain year just ended in California. Most cities in the Central coast received half of normal, which was about 7 inches total where Ilive.

With the huge drought out west we all need the rain

Anyone remember this commercial for a local TV station, maybe Channel 9? People were watching a weather report and the weatherman said it's XX degrees at the airport, and they said something like "nobody lives at the airport!"

Yeah rained pretty good at my house for a little bit, no hail or anything though. And technically not the monsoon, just remnant Pacific Ocean tropical moisture I guess. But probably won't rain again for a while

It’s still basically summer here. Everything is still green. My lawn is still growing. Highs in the 70s & 80s and lows in the 60s.

I’m not complaining, because cold weather sucks. But the weather is crazy.

NorCal is really concerned about the runoff from all the fires. We need the rain dearly, but not all at once.

Vancouver Canada is currently only accessible by boat and plane from the outside world. Every road in from the US or elsewhere in Canada is currently closed.

We haven’t had any snow.

In fact, we’ve broken the record for the latest first snow by about a week and the forecast for the next ten days is all above average temps and rain when there is any precipitation.

It’s fucking weird. Plus I hate 40 degree weather. Easily the worst temperature range. If it’s going to be cold it might as well snow and look pretty.

We're in Leavenworth, WA for Christmas and we've gotten at least 6 inches in the last 2 days. Beautiful as hell

Cold part of the state, but check out how cold Seattle is going to be on the mild weather part of the state.

We are a day ahead of Tucson for winter storms, and although the rain has been fantastic, it has been really cold.
