Re: The Official Missing Posters Thread
Kind of impressive effort to go through them all and edit them. I sincerely doubt I'd have the stamina to do it, even if I wanted to. Of course I have a lot more posts, but still, even for 783 of them, too much effort for me.
So, having not realized he was gone, and reading in this thread about it, should we just delete all of his posts?
I fail to see any good from having 783 blank posts floating around.

It's long past time to bring this back to the court, let's do it with a small update:

I think the mods should go back through those threads and edit them to appear as we think he'd post, including our own awful photoshop attempts.

No idea, but I'm assuming the forum admin can do fairly easily. At least, it seems to me that an admin should have such an option at his disposal. "delete all posts from user X" type of thing.gumby wrote:Is that an easy option? Asking for a friend.PieceOfMeat wrote:Kind of impressive effort to go through them all and edit them. Isn't it up to the poster to edit his posts however he wants? Why would we follow up by deleting the poster from memory without him requesting it? Hopefully he'll still come back and help us understand what happened.

I agree with LH.
I do not agree with "The Final Solution to the Katz Deletion" by deleting Katz from memory.
If I don't speak up for Katz, who will speak up for me, when he is gone?

Will Clark is Ben Hansen's favorite player. Will the Thrill was Will Clark's nickname. Ben Hansen used the WilltheTrill22 as an avatar name until Jim Storey made all his writers use their real name. Josh Gershon was AZCat07 and Jason Scheer was NobodyBetter (I hope I got those right). That's why I have reason to believe that Ben Hansen is here, and he won't have to deal with MAO (or Ace).scumdevils86 wrote:Returnofthethrill?

Honestly? Its definitely been a struggle. I still go up and down. Thankfully, I've kept off about 60 pounds permanently, so now I only only fluctuate between my lowest goal point and the new 'high' if that makes sense. I''m trying again to finish it out because I have kid number 2 on the way. Want to be around for themMerkin wrote:So how's your weight? Keeping it off?

Congratulations! That's 99.9% great. The 0.01% not-so-great is that he'll be a balanced individual who will never gain the perspective that sent you and the rest of us over the edge. What happened to Walk on Wildcat?
Such a good guy. Would generously put together vid after video of games and highlights we were interested in.
Also, would help with various rock discussions, especially talking the grundgees from Seattle. Green day, Melvins, Pearl Jam, Nirvana, etc., etc, etc. Threw in sweet videos you couldn't find on the net.
Where's dat Brother WOW?

Re: The Official Missing Posters Thread
He had some personal upheaval in his life that led him back to Tucson (I think) from where he was living in Ohio.
As for why he quit the boards, I can't really speak for him but I always thought he had a love/hate relationship with this community and the Internet in general. Probably pretty easy to walk away from something that at times brings you great stress.

I'm FB friends with him. He seems to be doing much better now. His wife threw him out for being an alcoholic and the divorce was very hard on him.
He went to Tucson to go to a recovery program but it didn't stick.
