Us older guys are controlling the vote!

We could have the very first 16 seed over a 1

I doubt Stone wins it all, but several factors are contributing to her recent domination, the most obvious of which was her criminally low initial percentage, likely dominated by sub-25 year old voters that populated TOS.

Now we steadfasts here that are all mainly 25+ (Probably mostly all 30+) and we have a very high affinity for her.

My guess is she has a surprise Sweet 16 run, but I absolutely saw this coming. The fact she was voted at 50.91% is laughable and in need of redeeming.

Hey JMJ, if she wins this thing maybe she will come and except her trophy and we can all attend :)

Clearly still not getting it.

In her prime - which is how most of these votes go - Stone was super hot. Forget what you know about her & just look at that body man.

She's pretty, Kate Beckinsale is pretty, Evangeline Lilly is pretty, Kim Basigner was pretty, Alicia Silverstone was pretty, Emma Watson is pretty, Natalie Portman is pretty, Heather Locklear was pretty, etc etc.

Pretty ≠ Hot

Neither one is hot.

She puts out the fun time in bed in her prime vibe.

Kendrick would be a fine too, but would get old fast. Stone = sultry

Again, I disagree with how you frame the argument (much less the idea that Sharon Stone being hotter than Anna Kendrick is somehow akin to you being "fist fucked", but I digress), yet I'll entertain it momentarily. I'll even agree with you on Watson, Portman, Silverstone and Lilly.

Kim Basinger and Heather Locklear were never pretty, but they were hot, as their bodies in their primes were smoking and they exuded sensuality and sexuality. Kate Beckinsale is both pretty and hot, I just think in her case you are mistaking "English" for "just pretty", and otherwise have failed to watch any of the "Underworld" movies or noticed how she fills out a leather suit. Hot.

Sharon Stone, by your definition, is not only "pretty", but hot.

Exhibit A:

Image

Exhibit B:

Image

Hot. Damn Hot. Not just "pretty", which the way you use it is somewhat dismissive. HOT.

Image

Short spiky hairdo isn't my cup of tea, but that body is hot, hot, hot.

Image

Super Hot. Sexy. Sultry. The camera loves her. All of that.

Image

This was taken in 2013 for crissakes. Hot.

At the end of the day, I respect your opinion, but that's all it or any of this is, opinion. I think she's hot. So do many others here.

Technically these votes aren't for deciding whether or not one is hot. These are the ones already voted as such by the masses. These polls are pick one.

But don't attempt to disqualify or undermine years worth of quantifiable research on the topic of message board masculinity and it's definitions and applications of feminine aesthetics with your rogue tantrums! It's been voted, the tribe has spoken.

Senility is upon us

But I'll end my case against because I'll never convince you guys she's not hot (which she obviously isn't: the pics didn't help) and you'll never convince me otherwise either.

I don't think Kendrick is hotter, I just thinks she needs some clicks. I will vote for Sharon Stone against Upton however, because i can't think of her w/o seeing effing Verlander.

If Sharon Stone isn't hot, then I don't know what hot looks like.

Stone gets my vote.

I could make an equally snarky crack questioning your visual acuity, or suggest you're too young to know what hot is, or continue to hammer on the idea that Sharon Stone obviously IS hot (and that despite your protestations, the pics obviously prove so), but instead I'll just point out that Beauty is in the Eye of the Beholder and leave it at that.

The Verlander "issue" sounds like a "you" problem though ...

Going back to Plato, "beauty is in the eye of the beholder" means that beauty does not fluctuate with opinion; it's carried in the perceiving mind as knowledge of the Beautiful. Plato would agree that hotness isn't fluid, either, and would point to Stone as a phenomenal reflection of the Form of Hotness.

Herr Professor! Close the book on this one, great argument.

Kate Upton = Duke BB or Kansas BB of this tourney?

Both formidable, but one is hanging out to the glory days for one last chipper vs the other trouncing most teams, but gets beat by upstart mid-major talent?

I think there are arguments for both. Also when is the Stone Upton battle scheduled? Do we start off with this one, or hold over for a few other match ups in anticipation for a prime time audience?

I am overly caffeinated today. :)
