I am about to get on a plane to Atlanta and I have never really found much appealing about it in the past. Staying around the Omni, Georgia Dome area... Anyone know of any low key bars or decent restaurants in the area?

just upon a quick yelp review (haven't been to Atlanta in 15 years or so) there doesn't seem to be a whole hell of a lot of great choices right around your area of downtown.

Yeah I've stayed in this area before and there's not much here that I know of. I know the CNN center food court all too well

most of the good looking places seem to be out east or to the north

the new college football hall of fame is downtown in atlanta. looks really cool.
