There's been many requests.

It has come to this.

I abstain. I think the virus should be zapped without a vote just like spam.

I did the vote because while I have places him on ignore faster than any poster ever, I don't want to just ban without lending voice. I don't think we want to be that site.

That said, I will lend support for any decision, and am in full agreement something must be done.

Okay then I voted. But I also kind of want to be that site that just bans sociopaths that destroy the basketball board in March.

Yes UAEebs86, I agree. I locked a thread of his....which is something I rarely (never on this or even the other site that I can recall) do on any message board I've ever been on.

Tip of my hat to his trolling though, it's just time for him to pick up his ball and take his game to some other fan base's forum.

I only made the poll to cover our ass. It's fitting it's a landslide. I figured it'd pass. But a landslide speaks volumes.

It's nice being a part of an online community where if it's decided someone needs to go, it actually happens.

I think the tipping point for any troll should be when he goes for the old, overused "I just have different opinions and I'm just being honest and this board shows no tolerance or capacity for multiple perspectives" defense. It's an insult to the fact that this board rolls with different opinions and perspectives all day long every day, and it's an insult to everyone's intelligence. If you're on an Arizona Wildcats basketball board and Lute Olson makes you "choke back vomit" and you're constantly derisive toward Sean Miller and you opine that TJ McConnell is a traitor who deserves no appreciation from the fans (wtf?), then you're probably not expressing honest thoughts worthy of healthy, inclusive conversations. You're probably there to draw attention to yourself at the expense of what people are there to discuss.

Yeah, the free speech comments on the way out were hilarious. We let enfuego and devilswin99 hang out here.

I also thought was funny that in one post a few days ago I said, among other things, that he wasn't an Arizona fan.
He took umbrage to something else I said, but didn't even say a word about that comment. Hmmmm........

I'm curious why it doesn't show Rocky is banned. You wouldn't think so if you read his posts or saw his profile page. It doesn't matter really, as long as he's gone.

Is posting a right or a privilege. I have always considered it a privilege. It is OK to have contrarian thoughts but Rocky only wanted to stir the pot to bring Attention to his pathetic existance.

Just like the people who have you on ignore Salty, it doesn't work when people quote the person.

I try not to, but I will admit that I posted his comments on Lute in three separate threads because it was that bad and needed to be brought to the attention of the board.

His participation on this board broughtno added value and when the opinions of the masses are universally aligned consistently against those views then it is time to go.
