A former architecture student of mine here in Sharjah has become Lady Gaga’s go-to fashion designer. Pretty cool story.

I just deleted a couple political posts. This is a cool idea for a thread, let's not ruin it.

Charles Barkley donates $45,000 for Bucks guard Malcolm Brogdon's water project in Africa
https://www.usatoday.com/story/sports/f ... /39493051/
The NBA on TNT crew welcomed Milwaukee Bucks guard Malcolm Brogdon to their set inside Fiserv Forum Friday night, after Brogdon scored 14 points in a blowout win over the Toronto Raptors. Brogdon, who recently returned from a plantar fasciitis injury, was given the chance to speak about his non-profit organization Hoops2o, which installs clean wells for communities in need in Africa.
"We basically build clean water wells in East Africa and Tanzania," Brogdon said. "So every summer I go over there. I raise money through the season, I have four other guys in the NBA who are helping me raise money on different teams, and I'm just trying to raise as much money as I can to build more wells. And then I go visit the people in Africa and see the impact it has."
Charles Barkley asked how much it costs to build a well and immediately pledged the $45,000 necessary. Shaquille O'Neal suggested Brogdon name it "the Chuck well."

Crazy. I wouldn’t have thought you could get that lost on Maui. But props to her for keeping herself alive.
Re: The Good News Thread
Neither did I, but on the Eastern side of the island there's a like 6-8 mile wide stretch of forest/jungle That has no roads or towns, just like scattered hiking trails. Can get lost in a jungle easily.ByJoveByJingle wrote:Crazy. I wouldn’t have thought you could get that lost on Maui. But props to her for keeping herself alive.

Simone Biles is simply spectacular. Look at the height on her dismount. She could dunk over Dusan.
