Considering the WNBA TV revenues is not even enough to cover Jayson Tatums annual salary, the salary discrepancy makes sense.
Hopefully next set of negotiations whoever is negotiating rights can see a huge jump based on the ratings boost they have seen and clear upward trajectory with the much more fancentric model than the NBA currently has (make stars in College that you care about and then carry them to the WNBA).
