I disagree with it as I don’t think hard core coaches work anymore in basketball especially at the NBA level

Magic is not a good NBA talent evaluator, and that applies to coaches. Ryan West and Jesse Buss are responsible for the talent evaluations which got the Lakers to where they are now, excluding Bron and the free agents they signed last summer.

Firing Luke is the lamest talking point in order to take any pressure off what might happen this season, including a playoff blunder of a first round exit, should one occur.

Lakers don't have much to offer New Orleans. He'll most likely go to the Celtics or someone else.

Rose rule, Davis can't go to the Celtics unless the trade included Kyrie which is not happening

I can't see Walton surviving after this year. He is in a no-win situation. Honestly, I don't think Luke is that great of a coach. Does not seem like he makes a lot of adjustments in the second half of games.

Bron and Rich are calling the shots, make no mistake. Luke will be gone, he doesn't deserve any of this, and I do think he's a good coach, but he's not ready at all for this.

Bron does not listen to any of Luke's calls, at all. He flat out ignores him and runs what he sees fit on the floor. That's a fact.

Last year, you could see the guys picking up what Luke wanted them to do, how to play free and reactionary, and those dudes we're busting their ass on defense.

This year is literally the exact opposite.

Looking at Luke's face on the bench last night, and the extended All-Star break, I wouldn't feel comfortable if I were Luke.

Nobody except Lebron and Magic should feel comfortable (and in that order), but there’s opportunity to turn this thing around and solidify a spot for next year.
