In the first game against the Bucks in February, Saric was out with his injury. It seems weird now, but Monty started Kaminsky at the 4 and played him like 35 minutes. Giannis scored 47 and I think he had something like 15 rebounds.

The next game in late April, Monty did something else that seems weird now: starting Saric. As the game wore on and Giannis was killing us, Monty went to Crowder and kept him out there. Giannis was contained that game.

Going into the Finals, I can't picture playing with the starting lineup again.

Middleton and Tucker, right? Or do you mean who can guard Booker? Nobody, but Tucker is a good scout at least.

Do you see the Bucks as showing maximum economy of motion? They all play with a strong center of gravity, resisting any extra movements, to the point that they look like they're playing in a lower gear. The polar opposite of the Clippers, who play with a blur of limbs at breakneck speed and intense physicality.

I can't decide if they're the coolest pros in basketball history, or if they haven't been tested by bruising playoff defenders.

What are your guys' plans for watching the Finals? Tomorrow I think I'll visit my local sports bar down the street from my apartment tower. Other than their opening series Vs the Lakers, every playoff Suns game I've publicly watched has been amidst a crowd heavily favoring the Suns thanks to the many Arizona visitors to San Diego year-round. Would like to find a more dedicated bar if anyone knows if San Diego has a "Suns Bar?"

Other than that, I'll be back in "The Valley" July 16/17 when Game 5 is scheduled for Phoenix.

Since you can't vaccinate kids yet, I'll be at home with my kid continuing to try to introduce her to the joy of basketball while my wife runs interference.

Will you guys let me jump on the Suns bandwagon for the Finals? I will be rooting hard for them to finally get a ring.

Afterwards, unfortunately I will have to go back to the purple and gold. ;)

Of course! We've been doing that since forever. I have sincerely fond memories of every Lakers final since 1980.

I assumed it was an ordered list of 1-7, with Game 1 at the top.

Looks like alphabetical order. I can't decide which game I'd want as our guaranteed loss.

I want to allow it... but I just don't feel right about a Lakers fan getting any kind of enjoyment out of a Suns Championship.

Lakers fans have had more than their share of good times.

Can you just actively root against the Bucks?

Thank you for your understanding!

Now.... I will totally understand after this series that you realize the mistakes you've made in your life and swear off the Lakers from this point on.

At that point... yes... I will welcome you into the Suns fan club with open arms!

Mistakes in life? When I inadvertently became a Suns fan as a child, I had no idea what I was signing up for. I used to think Kareem and Alvan Adams were were battling, and that Walt Davis was quite the counterpunch to Magic Johnson. It took me years to understand that the regular season shouldn't raise expectations for the playoffs.

I hate these dwindling hopes for Giannis and basketball itself, but also for Ayton. He's so ready for this, like he was for Joker when so many people doubted him.

It feels like Giannis is done for this year.

They reported he was back on the court today so he may be back soon. Don't think it's as bad as Kawhi's injury.

I paid over $600 face value for upper level seats. Western Conference finals seats were much cheaper. I have some extra game 2 tickets I am trying to sell at face value and none of my friends want to pay that price. No one is biting on Ticketmaster either.
I get that the Suns haven't made the Finals in ages but yeah the Suns really jacked up the prices for the Finals.
