Amazing year, Championship, and MVP honors for Igg!! His sacrifice to come in 6th all year for his Coach and teammates is astonishing. Starting is one thing. Coming first off the bench is another!

Wonder how much the post-championship storyline will be tilted toward LeBron coming home to lose the Finals vs. Kerr, Iggy and the U of A support staff building a new dynasty at Golden State.
Why I'm wondering is that I expect to see SportsCenter, the Sports Writers, etc. talk up the former and downplay the latter.
Whatever credit those four Wildcats receive in the aftermath of this championship IMHO won't be enough. Huge congrats to them, especially the original Gumby, Bruce Fraser, who was so good at doing everything unheralded his whole career.

I touched on this in another thread after the game last night. After the game, Sportscenter was about 10 minutes of covering the Warriors, then 3 minutes of highlights, and then the next 40 minutes of Lebron exclusively. They eventually stopped, but I turned it off because I was sure there was more coming later. Which is sad, because there is a great storyline from the Warriors side. A bench player wins finals mvp for the first time, a rookie coach wins a title for the first time in over 30 years, how a team considered by many to be one dimensional transformed into not only a champion, but having one of the best regular seasons in history; the Arizona connection with the warriors, Steph Curry is always an amazing story, etc.
ESPN just makes things infinitely worse for Lebron as a villain. A lot of that is his actions over the years, but for the most part he cooled down, but they keep dousing with gasoline.
