I really hope Wemby marks a major turnaround point for the Spurs. Four years in the weeds feels like eternity. Keep the kid healthy and make the playoffs and call it good for this season. Pop's getting long in the tooth so it's too much to ask to see another 'Ship before he retires, but a guy can dream.

He's a crafty old bastard, so maybe the contract guarantees his health.

Mark Cuban working on sale of NBA's Mavericks to Sands casino family, AP source says
https://www.npr.org/2023/11/28/12157476 ... -source-sa
Dallas Mavericks owner Mark Cuban is working on a deal to sell a majority stake in the NBA franchise to the family that runs the Las Vegas Sands casino, a person with knowledge of the talks said Tuesday night.
The agreement would be in the valuation range of $3.5 billion and take weeks for the league to process, according to the person, who spoke to The Associated Press on condition of anonymity because details weren't being made public.
Cuban would retain control of basketball operations in the deal. NBA reporter Marc Stein was the first to report the potential sale.

Luka scores 73 and Booker scores 62 on the same night. Defense in the NBA is a joke.

Nah I'd say its the offense that's a joke / crazy.
Or maybe Steve Kerr would say it's lack of defensive freedom to move.

He makes more than Halliburton (I think), and that's gonna change, but regardless, TJ deserves a new contract upgrade.

He’s a free agent. I can guarantee he’s about to get paid.

Cool to see the C's win it with the whole Walton situation, even though I don't like that team much.
Josh Green looked really good last night, hope it leads to good things for him. Oh what a team we should have had with him/Manion/Nnaji
