a little as well. The shit with his step dad could be all on his step dad for all I know. Then getting hacked on social media ten minutes before the draft?
That all could be stuff that wasn't his fault and just disappears five minutes after he's taken. Who knows.

Was kinda hoping the Raiders got Rankins. Now I don't know where they go. Might stretch for a corner.

So I am watching the draft on the NFL Now Live stream. My best explanation is that the production is like a bunch of buddies getting together and commentating on the draft.

Kind of a reach there for the Niners.

A lot of options for the Cards

I'm somewhat glad the 49ers didn't move back into the 1st round and pick Jack as that would've confirmed Jack was badly, badly injured.
But yeah, they from the talking heads they probably could have stayed at 37 overall and got the same player. But it's the niners so they're contractually obligated to do some silly things.

Tons of talent. Off field issues -seem- pretty serious.

Love what the Cards did. I still like Myles Jack and there was a ton of talent left on the board so there were many options. They got a need and a possible top talent in the draft. Fully believe Arians can get him on track and he can dominate.

Perspectives on the Rams-Titans trade? I understand why the Rams did it, but it reeks of back office desperation. Goff is a coin toss at best, IMO, and you've just mortgaged your future by giving away so much.

Could've gotten a loan based on future earnings.

Did the injury cause the defect, or did the defect contribute to the injury?

Stan Kroenke run teams are awful. At least they'll have a $2 billion stadium though!

He runs them as a business. He knows he can maximize profits by achieving mediocre results.

I'm not a Cards fan, but I'd be worried about the on field effort too. Watching Ole Miss games, he would dominate every now and again and then go Swayze for entire games. When his stated goals involve acting and buying a panther, you don't really see that focus and commitment necessarily improving.

I had hoped Chris Jones would fall to the Raiders at 44
I assume more D for the Raiders (Alexander CB?)

What do we think about Brandon Williams (CB) out of TAMU?

Size, speed... Maybe a developing corner, maybe more of a free safety with time...
But should be good with special teams immediately. Not sure if he's a kick returner.

Cards go defense again in the 5th. Take a bit of a reach on Midwestern St SS Marqui Christian. Won the Cliff Harris Award as nation's top small-college defensive player in 2015. Most had him as a 6th or 7th round pick.

Back to the offensive line with their 2nd 5th round pick. Harvard OT Cole Toner. Looks like another small reach as he was projected in the 6th or 7th as well.Big kid at 6'5" and 305 lbs. Two time all Ivy league. Hopefully he can add some depth to the line.

At this point I trust Kiem over projected reaches. He's always, especially in late rounds, "reaching" and getting immediate impact players. Every year, almost every round.
Small school, big school, no name, big name... All have something he values more than most.

If Scooby knew he would be drafted in the 6th or 7th round, would he of decided to come back one more year?
