I understand picking Bradford as your QB this year, especially with that contract, and assuming you draft a QB this year, but for the life of me I can't understand why you'd pick Mike Glennon as the back up. Just resign Drew Stanton ffs.

I'm not sure if Mathieu would fit in well with Wilks defense ultimately. Sounds like they would've liked to keep him if it was more affordable, but when you already got a similar player without the injury risks in Baker letting go of Mathieu and saving the cap space for next year makes more sense.

If I'm Keim I'm moving heaven and earth to get into the top 4 picks of the draft. We'll have a ton of cap space available next season to plug holes, so go ahead and trade whatever draft picks you need to to get the deal done.

My god I LOVE NFL Draft season. If you follow Jurecki (he's great and it's not his fault) nearly every day he has tweeted pretty much implying the Cards will stick to their board at 15 and won't reach for a QB (like Lamar Jackson), while also very likely not trading up and then yesterday there's this tweet:

So much shit being thrown on at the wall during draft season. So many mind games!

Use Bradford as the lab rat to test the OLine, then fix it next offseason and draft, then hand over the keys. They play a similar, mostly pocket, behind o-line scramble, pass-first style, so, what works for Nradford should work for Rosen, and what fails B, will need similar improvement in personnel or scheme for Rosen.

But I’m excited about this pick.

Keep him upright and work to get the ball out of his hands within first two reads.

What were the Giants thinking in passing Rosen up?!?! Rosen would've made the perfect successor to Eli Manning and his confidence made a great personality fit for the NYC sports market. Stoked for the Cardinals, though!

Hopefully they suck enough this year to turn a high pick into a couple extra picks going forward. The allure of a top 3 pick is nice, but if you can move down some and pick up a couple extra picks, it could work well long term.

I'm not sure if the current management setup is going to work with the team right, but I'm more of an outsider in that regards.
