The inclusion of Gonzales gets the thumbs down from SCCat (yes, I'd rather have Cameron), but we will see what happens.

Good luck guys!

Who knows, but changing up the group that had worked together for like 8 straight games to bring in a new tall guy into extraordinarily wet conditions doesn't inspire confidence.

But I'm sure it will be fine!

How long till Germany nets one of these balls that keep going across the box?

A couple of outstanding singular defensive plays by USA.

If they keep this level of pressure up they will score before the half.

USA's whole offense seems to end up passing the ball back to the goalie

Pretty much looks like near-effortless pressure for them at the moment.

Doesn't help we keep giving away possession.

Jones needs to change his cleats at half time, keeps falling down every time he accelerates .

With Gonzales on a yellow I might consider subbing him at the half. He's going to be exposed to more danger and has a pretty decent chance of picking up another yellow this game

still a draw at half time. I'm a bit surprised germany never put one in considering all that early pressure.

In this WC Jones has played the best I've ever seen him play for the US and Bradley has played the worst I've ever seen him play for the US.

It's been a very strange dichotomy.

Davis is a waste out on the field. He had to be moved to the right side because he wasn't helping on defense. If there is a sub it would be Bedoya for Davis.

Jones is really playing out of his mind. While Bradley can't get out of his.

who is #2 for the US and when does he come in?

Jones has been uneven and Bradley's first touch has left him -- never thought I'd say that, maybe he will have the last laugh??

Klose in for Podolski, showing how deep the team is

Gonzalez is playing really well, probably won't see Cameron

Klose isn't what he used to be, but still seems to energize the German side when he's on the pitch... Dangerous player.
