American Pharoah barely won the Kentucky Derby. He won the Preakness going away, which shows he's a good mudder. I think it will depend how he is handled down the stretch. He's no Secretariat or Seattle Slew. I would love to see him win but I don't believe it will happen. Of course I haven't followed him all year.

This was the second fasted Belmont Stakes of all time behind Secretariat. American Pharoah has to be one of the top horses of all time behind Secretariat, and there with Man o' War.

Think it was actually the 6th fastest. He is an easy striding horse that doesnt seem to have a lot of wasted energy.
I don't think he is close to Secratariat or Man O'War but he is in select company winning the triple crown

Yea it was second fastest among all triple crown winners. He wasn't even pushed though, he had a lot more.
