Italy, Netherlands, Chile and US all blowing up in qualifying makes for a really boring group stage. Only going to be a few quality matches before the knockout rounds this year.

Absolutely clinical header from the Morrocan defender in deep stoppage time.

Doesn't make it any less valid of a point. Ties have no place in sporting competitions.

Complete disagree but you sound so sure of yourself so maybe I will reconsider. Since you are always so right about everything else.....................

Which team deserved to lose that game? Neither? Good, because nobody lost and each gained a point. Problem solved.

It's group stage. Why make them play a half hour longer? Knockout stage will get OT and shoot outs, I hope.

If Ozil and Khedira keep playing this poorly, does Germany shut its borders?
Also, fuck you Landon.

I am really tired of seeing articles that U.S. fans should support Mexico. No. I will not support Mexico and I hope they go down in flames. I don’t think any USA soccer fan that has watched the team over the years would ever think that’s okay. It’s like supporting ASU. I am very happy that Landon is getting burned on Twitter from other US players.

+1, Germany not winning was disappointing. Don't give them confidence, I need Mexico fourth in their group.

Vamos Mexico! US fans can support the team Mexico is playing, we don't care. It gives Mexico the chance to rip US fan's hearts out that much more. There is already plenty of Mexican team support.

Mitrovic (Serbia) being hugged by 2(!) players in the box while he tries to go up for a header and then being dragged down by those two players...somehow not a foul.
That stuff in the box should be called way more often.

Actually, they could be out if they can't gain a point against Sweden and Germany wins. Crazy considering how well they have played.

They just called mascherano (Argentina) for a similar type play. The Mitrovic one was (I would say) much worse, but at least they're calling this somewhere...
LOL the rules announcer just mentioned "The one that wasn't called where two players dragged one down and was much worse..." AKA the Mitrovic incident.

The Mexico/Sweden game is really good. Mexico is playing really good soccer and was in the box for most of the first half. As usual they are playing very physical, but Sweden is too. They also got lucky with an obvious handball in the box that wasn't called.

If I was a non top 5 EPL team I'd be taking a pretty hard look at 23 year old Mitrovic (number I've seen is 30M pounds). Pair him with a poacher type second forward and you might have something interesting...
