After competing as an independent since joining college Hockey's division 1 ranks in 2015, Sun Devils hockey has been voted into National Collegiate Hockey Conference.
"Arizona State will join Colorado College, the University of Denver, Miami University, the University of Minnesota Duluth, the University of Nebraska Omaha, the University of North Dakota, St. Cloud State University and Western Michigan University in composing the NCHC's membership."
The Sun Devils only hockey tournament appearance is 2019.
