Not really that big of a deal. Overall #1 seeds shouldn't be losing in the 2nd round no matter where they play. One of the comments I saw in the link stated that picking the region would be huge and I agree with that.

I agree. Choose either Geographically favorable OR weakest bracket.CatMG wrote:Not really that big of a deal. Overall #1 seeds shouldn't be losing in the 2nd round no matter where they play. One of the comments I saw in the link stated that picking the region would be huge and I agree with that.
Its a nice exercise in game theory/strategy.

I think the NCAA should do what the Jacklinqs ESPN TBT tourne mentioned does and that is offer 2m to the winning teams senior players. Reward the kids that stay all 4 years and man the intensity would go through the roof, LOL
This the tourney that Fogg played in and won. Half joking on this but it would be an interesting dynamic

The region choice wouldn't work for favorability. All the proposals have the school specifying a preference ahead of time. I really doubt the NCAA would ever compromise by revealing the draws ahead of time to any school.CalStateTempe wrote:I agree. As proposals go, this seems like a fairly tame one. 9 times out of 10 there won't be a difference.
