I thought the big upset was the team that had won 100 straight. My bad.

The Zags and USC game has been really entertaining to watch in the first half. It's a fast paced basketball game played at an extremely high level.

S. Carolina become fatigued at the end of the half. They couldn't keep up with the pace, and Gonzaga's experienced and deep team is relentless. They can put away a team quickly with skilled high IQ basketball.

My dream college hoops team. Much like '88 was.

S. Carolina really competes. The Zags are the better team but they sure aren't better in tenacity.

The Zags fell apart when S. Carolina ramped up the pressure with the full court press. Sometimes just stirring the pot makes all the difference.

SC in college has learned what Utah in the NBA has learned from the Seahawks. Foul them every play and dare the refs to call it

I forgot it was the final four. I'm taking this year off the final four, but starting next year I'll only watch the final four and no other college basketball. I am determined to transition to being a casual fan.

If Oregon wins the Natty they'll have beaten 3 #1 seeds like Arizona in 97. Fuck that, go UNC.

South Carolina fan in front of me...standing up on every shot, wearing a fkn visor, as clueless about the game and its rules as i would be at a cricket match. Oh, and I have heard him yell "SEC" more than once...what the fk is that about with these people?

My perfect world has Oregon beat this UNC team just to hurt the very soul of the GTL bro in the too small Tarheel shirt next to me, then let a Zags team that is legit take a title. They aren't our recruiting competition playing WCC and I like Few and their fans have been...BY FAR...the coolest fans here. Just nice and knowledgeable and living in a dream.

Just a FYI if Oregon wins the national championship they'd be the second team to beat 3 #1 seeds in one NCAA tourney. We don't want that.

Oregon needs to quit turning it over if they want to win. Awfully careless w the ball so far.

So as much as people bitch about Miller making in game adjustments, Oregon had the same two issues all game long and never addressed them. Defensive rebounding and awful shot taking destroyed them.

Could u guys imagine this board if we lost the way Oregon just lost????

Also I'm all in for the Zags now. I like Few, he's been knocking on the door, he's earned it. I can't stand UNC. Some of my douchiest friends are Heels fans and I just don't like em. It is interesting to see two upperclassmen teams (really 4 as USCe and Oregon are expiereinced teams too) be the type of teams to make it this far.

Of course u always go after the Aytons and Fergusons and Markkanens and Bagleys of the world, but the real way to build a title team is on the overrated 5 star kids and underrated 4 star kids. Theo pinson was a 5 star, berry was a 5 star kid w a ceiling.

Guys like Trier and Dorsey are guys to go after. They are bucket getters at the college level w limited ceilings because of size. Obviously we've had some tough luck w Trier and he has his faults but we may very well get 3 years out of him. Probably more value to the program than 1 year out of Ayton or 1 out of Lauri (if we get 3 , which will essentially be 2.5).

Also Zags have proved u should always hit the transfer market hard. They have 3 playmakers from it, 2 via grads.

I just want Final 4s. Idc if kids are 1 and done or 5th year seniors. I really don't think the way Cal does it is the best way to get there. Every once in awhile u may bring in a truly special class like he did w the brow, Kidd gihlcrist, etc, but I think u want 1-2 special lotto kids a class sprinkled in w 3-4 year kids. Which is basically what we do, we just get fucked because of curses I guess.

Our best teams the last 20 years were a good blend :

Jr TJ
Jr nick
Soph bash (hurt)
Soph Zeus
Soph York
Frosh Gordon
Frosh rhj

Senior salim
Senior frye
Junior hot sauce
Soph shakur
Frosh McClellan

Senior Gardner
Senior Walton
Frosh hot sauce
Frosh iggy
Senior wessel
Soph salim
Soph frye

Senior woods
Junior Wright
Junior rj
Soph Gardner
Soph arenas
Soph Walton

Just got back from the games and my Jackson from NC is good. He shut down Brooks and made some tough shots. Duck fans were besides themselves not getting those rebounds.

Lots of fun but basketball in domes is dumb. Can't even buy a beer and watch it on the big screen. Should be a great game Monday night
