Also Villanova is damn good
The fact that DiVincenzo comes off the bench is absolutely disgusting. Kid can absolutely stroke it.

I was really bummed about missing out on Quinerly, but his season high of 4 points in a game is making it easier to move on.

Wow, I’ve never seen a play like that. That’s up there with Billy Blanks pulling out a gun on the football field and shooting three would be tacklers on the way to the end zone in the Last Boy Scout.

Xavier's ball screen coverage getting slaughtered much like ours was the last two years. Hard hege that empty corner side ball screen, offense slips, weak side defender is either too small to deter the big at the rim or the rotation is way late from the opposite corner to nearside block.

This is why I think Millers film/video instruction has been "Q:Whats the best defense? A: BALL PRESSURE"...

Ball pressure disrupts the offense as Miller learned a year ago.

Terrible refs though...

p.s. Xavier would be up by 20 if they had 50% fewer turnovers...

I would say the above is why we need Akot to step up. With him on the floor, we can switch that ball screen and completely screw up the offense scheming us into that rotation (see PJC rotating all the way from the corner to nearside block last year, Coleman this year, ect.)

Agree on all points. Xavier should be winning this game. Here comes OT.

It's absolutely amazing the favoritism Duke gets from the officials. Duke guy is boxed out on rebound, leaves his feet when he has no position and then because he was boxed out falls to the floor and gets a foul called on opponent. Unreal.

Jalen Mcdaniels may have a bright future in his own right. Sure looked good today.

SDSU had a really strong second half to beat Xavier. Took a lead and held on. I thought Xavier made a mistake late in the second half. They really put a run together to get nearly even by going zone. SDSU got one basket with a nice pass to the open baseline and they scrapped it. Thought they should have rode the zone at least a couple more possessions.

Good win for the Aztecs.

They got that same 10 point lead with about 11 to go. Last night they blew that lead so let's see if they learned anything. Would be nice to see them win

Iowa State had seven and a half minutes left in this game when they had scored all of what they scored against us last night.

I'm going to sound like a baby here, but I honestly think no team in college basketball gets the favor of the refs the same way Duke does, even when they get called for fouls its always on the wrong player and protects the main guys...

I had a friend play at Gonzaga, so I've always liked them. I know we're sort of rivals, but Few is a legit coach and I have a lot of respect for that program.

I don't mind rooting for them, especially when it helps us and they're playing Duke.
