Re: Kansas
Is there a conference where the fans of those teams are like "I'm so glad we have our officials and not those awful Big Somethin/Pac/SEC/ACC officials, I love our guys" ?
I'm not sure I've heard people on message boards gloating over their officials.

Arizona State might have the most surprisingly anemic history in men's basketball of any program that you might think is better than it is.

Re: Kansas
Almost certainly not, although IIRC, the ACC pays refs more than anybody else, with presumably a better result. I'll also mention that in our women's game against ASU Sunday, there was a ref named Anita Ortega, who I don't recall seeing much previously. She showed impressive presence and judgment. She's a former UCLA player, pioneer women's pro, and retired captain in the LA police department. You can't expect someone like that very often, but it was impressive to watch.

Nothing makes sense in the Big 12.
Houston is probably the best team, and KU smoked em.

It’s funny that Kansas has rules the Big 12 for so long then with expansion this year (Houston /BYU) and next year Arizona… they will be just another Big 12 team

Shutting down the bigs like that is an impressive stat especially when they are supposed to be close to the basket.

Re: Kansas
If KU gets past the 2nd round this year, I'll be a little surprised. Multiple teams are showing how to beat them.
Re: Kansas
We were down to 6 scholarship players and played walk ons. We'll be fine.

I think they're losing on purpose to avoid being in our bracket.

I don't want to anger the basketball gods, so I'm sure Kansas is just preparing for a deep tourney run.

Dickinson dislocated his right shoulder in the loss to Houston. Never want to see a player go down with an injury. He definitely won't be 100% if he plays in the tournament.

Cincinnati beats up Kansas 72-49 in the second round of the Big 12 tournament. Kansas is just in absolute free fall.
