Lately, Evan Buttery is there just to take up space and foul. A TO every now and then, but that's about it.

DaSilva is great, but Bruce is smoking crack.

Only wackadoo Colorado fans expect the buffs to compete for the PAC12 title.

Maybe Miami wasn't as special as their ranking suggested. Defense matter, kids. Also, the FlufferBros weren't just KSimp this time. They boarded and stole the ball a ton. This will be fun highlights to watch.

Need longer highlights and a full replay, but the Miami vs Flufferbros looked like AZ vs Wiscy, if Wiscy had no bigs. KSimp, da Silva, and Lampkin are good. Playing in Boulder against Sad Boyle will be fun.

It wasn't pretty for them before. From 84-85 to 03-04 when they were in the B8/B12, they had no conference championships and only 2 NCA A tourney appearances and never got past the 2nd round.

Not that the PAC has been that much easier, nothing higher than a 5th seed and nothing further than the 3rd round.

Tad Boyle gets an easier oepning tourney draw than he's used to Vs Boise. But then again it's a First Four game so does it even count before the real first round begins? Where a good Florida team awaits the winner in the South region.

Tad has only two NCAA tournament wins on his belt. Overall Tad is 2-5 in the tourney in 13 previous seasons coaching Colorado. So at that rate is Tad doing any better than what Hurley is doing in Tempe? Both Tad and Hurley strung along tenures with tourney berths here and there. A Colorado win over Boise will be like ASU crushing Steve Alford's Nevada team last year in the First Four. Speaking of Alford, Nevada has a legitimately strong team this year.

In Kenpom, Boise St is 39 & Nevada is 36. Boise St split the season with Nevada with each winning 1 game. For context, Wazzu is 42 & Oregon 55

Colorado seems really proud Tad is their winningest coach ever. What they're doing seems good enough for them, but the Big 12 is a whole different beast (especially since the last time they were in the conference) so I wonder how much longer that will last.

The problem with CU & ASU, who is going to replace these coaches? I have ASU friends & family and they don't like Hurley but they know they really can't get anyone that's better.

Colorado basketball with THREE players taken in the NBA draft:

Cody Williams picked 10th by Utah Jazz

Tristan de Silva picked 18th by Orlando Magic

KJ Simpson picked 42th by Charlotte Hornets

For the rest of you, most of whom watch more basketball than me, did you guys see this coming? On one hand Colorado had a banner season going 26-11 and advancing to to the second round for the third time in Tad Boyle's 13 seasons in Boulder. On the other hand, with three starters drafted, should the Buffaloes have been better?

Tristan is an OK player from what I remember, had really good games and some bad.

KJ is really good but kinda undersized.

Cody Williams has always been a projected top 10 pick but yeesh is he a project.

From watching the games we played them in, plus the tournament games - Williams sure didn't seem like he was ready for the big time; sure he has potential but didn't show a whole lot this year.

Weak draft. DeSilva is the best of the three. KJ I like a lot but he is just smallish and so have never got the Williams love.

It’s kind of funny that CU hit its max which was one win in the tourney that they squeaked into with three NBA guys. Great job Tad
