She is the best female basketball player I've ever seen. It isn't just her Steph Curry type shots, but she is a great passer.

Caitlin Clark is the top scoring leader in NCAA history, beating Pete Maravich. She has another year of eligibility, but will join the WNBA. She may actually put the WNBA on the map.

I'm getting old so don't care want people think of me. If they are annoyed, that is their problem. I am focused on Caitlin Clark. She is amazing. She is generational. Who I compare her to is Larry Bird. I believe Larry Bird is the greatest basketball player of all time. He wasn't the best athlete, but it had to do with his court sense. I swear, he could see 2 moves ahead.

I like Cheryl Miller and Sue Bird. Caitlin Clark's potential off the charts. Right now, she is amazing. Of course, I don't know the future, but hers is shining bright. She is a generational athlete. I thing of Serena Williams. She is on that level. She is a phenomenon. She is one of the best basketball players of all time, no matter the gender. Crazy

Breanna Stewart won four national titles, four Final Four Most Outstanding Players and three National Players of the Year.

To me she’s the greatest women’s player of all time while Clark is the greatest scorer.

Her non-basketball income (endorsements, etc.) will be huge - she should ignore this highly paid side-show, and stay with the mainstream!!

UConn offensive foul @ 3 seconds - moving screen...

If this happened in a mens semi, media would go apeshit!

I agree you don't want the refs to decide the game but aren't you doing that if the other team gets an open shot they would not have? Tough call. I just think if Arizona was disadvantaged by a moving screen would I want it called? Just a tough situation for refs and players.

Fun game. I was texting with a friend before that last call and I said TV wants CC and Iowa in the finals and lo and behold, a phantom call. Not unhappy the Iowa won but UConn should have been able to get that shot off

This angle paints a much clearer picture. She even throws out the elbow for good measure. Literally a textbook moving screen.

It’s like holding in football. Moving screens happen almost every possession these days so while the call maybe right do you make it with less than :10 with the game on the line?

That’s what everyone is crowing about.

Ught she both stepped into the path of the defender, and extended shoulder - she was neither set not stationary when the contact occurred.

I to would have rather seen a shot for the game a la Aari's!

No doubt a foul by the book but like ECC said, not a call you usually see at the end of a game.

LET EM PLAY REF. I didn’t buy a ticket to watch you ref

A foul, is a foul, is a foul.

Life's a bitch.

Regardless, it was a great game!! I really didn't care which team won...

That's a great angle. Since it's so blatant it had to be called.

Lot of sour grapes going on from UConn fans.

When the old dude in the country club locker room suspends his usual Saturday morning rants about how they snuck the Green New Deal through by calling it the Infrastructure Act to comment on a women’s basketball game he very obviously watched, you know the ladies have arrived.

The call didn't even end the game. UConn still had I think 3.9 seconds left and a timeout to bring it to half court, could have tied with a 2 or won with a 3, but they couldn't even get the rebound on Clark's missed FT.

Sorry not sorry.

I am starting to realize how much better women's basketball has become, especially at the top. These teams play good fundamental basketball. The passing is really good, and the shooting is good too, at all levels. There is also more physicality. It is becoming more fun to watch.

The more I watch it, the more I think you have to call that one. She was sliding and she threw out the chicken wing.

Pretty cool that the biggest sports controversy in the country at the moment comes from women's college basketball.

Unbelievable that women's college basketball is breaking records. 12.5 million viewers for Iowa/LSU and 14 million viewers for Iowa/UCONN. I never thought I would see the day that women's college basketball viewership had a higher rating than the NBA. It is amazing when the talent rises to another level. They are rising to the level of women's tennis. I am actually looking more forward to the game with Iowa/South Carolina than the men's final on Monday. I think Iowa will lose, but I want to see it. It is not just Cailin Clark. Iowa has good players. They have a punchers chance. And the crowd will be on their side. Really looking forward to the game. I've never said that about women's basketball before.

Honestly this game feels like what college basketball should be and the men's game is starting to lose. Hope it continues to grow in popularity.
