By how much will UConn beat Purdue?

Guess I'll be rooting for Purdue. UConn's had enough titles for a lifetime.

I love Edey. It’s gonna suck to see him lose his final college game. I think UConn is unstoppable.

UConn’s guards are bigger and more athletic than Purdue’s and they will disrupt tf out of entry passes to Edey, 3 pt attempts and perimeter ball movement.

IMNSHO, the Arizona/Purdue was the best-played contest of the year. Unlike most of Arizona's other losses, the offense was cli king throughout. Edey was disrupted for much of the game, and it was awesome perimeter shooting that allowed the Boilermakers to prevail.

BOX SCORE: https://www.espn.com/mens-college-baske ... /401577644

It looks to me like UConn/Purdue could play out similarly. If it's anything like AZ/PU, it will be a great championship game!

I'm pumped that the two dominant teams throughout the season will be meeting for the NC, and only hope the game lives up to the hype.

OTOH, like so many other finals, this will be an easy one for me to abandon relatively early.

I am so for Purdue. This is only the 3rd time Purdue has reached the FF. Painter has paid his dues. He can exorcise ghosts going back to Keady. Keady never made a FF. The state of Indiana is basketball. High School basketball was a religion when I grew up there. I want to see Purdue win so bad.

This is a really good game. Edey is the best player on the floor. But, Purdue needs more support in scoring. Smith or Loyer needs to step up.

Watching this game the reason for UConns dominance this year is evident..........its size on the perimeter.

Their smallest guard (Spencer) is 6'4". The other guards are 6'6'/6'7". Purdue is having issues getting shots off and making entry passes because of UConns size.

And, in the end UConn will likely win the O glass because of it.

I'm not sure about the duke comparison. It remains to be seen if Hurley can be lucky enough to find another Clingan and a couple of NBA sized guards year after year. This UConn team is a BIG & LONG unit. Newton looks like a high school player playing a Junior High Guard (Smith of Purdue)

UConn is doing to PU what many teams did to AZ - taking them out of their offensive sets and patterns. Edey is dominant, but their shooters are not getting their preferred shots...

Defense is forcing the pace, and PU can't hang...

Which teams are the most dominant? Jay Wright's Villanova teams, Scott Drew's Baylor teams or the past two years UCONN? I give the slight nod to Baylor. Guard play was better.

Yup, we had barramundi by the Brisbane river while watching, and unless we drink another bottle of Syrah it means it's time to walk back into the city.

I would have to think these UConn teams could push both of those teams due to the variety of athletes and unique players. I don't see a Clingan on any of those other teams. I do think both Villanova teams could give UConn some major trouble. Mikal Bridges, Brunson, DiVincenzo, Arcidiacono, Josh Hart, etc would have some things to say to UConn. The little bigs(Paschall, Spellman, Samuels, Jenkins) would probably present a much bigger matchup issue for Clingan than Edey, Gillis and Kaufman Renn does.
