Agree about Kansas. No way are they top 10.
Well, Purdue doesn't play Rutgers before they play us, so I think they'll still be #1 when we beat them.
If we actually make it through this non-conference schedule without loss...I mean...it would be up there with Tommy's biggest achievements so far at AZ.

That was an amazing tournament in Hawaii.

I think that all four of those teams are really good, will likely be even better in March, and we will/would face a serious contest against any of them.

I'm really looking forward to the (first?) Purdue game, but MSU first!!!

I was actually impressed with FAU. They will be no push over when we face them.

FAU plays that small ball line up and can shoot it. They shot 53% from the field, 53% from three making 16 of those and 87% from the line. Going to be a fun game and we will have to see who dictates the line ups late

Herb Sendek and Santa Clara just beat Oregon 88-82. First win over Oregon since 1997. We are now the only undefeated team left in the conference.

Does anyone aside from us have a good win? Every time I look at scores Pac schools are either beating crap teams or losing.

The pac 12 doing preseason pac 12 things. Gonna have to go 20-0 to get a 1 seed.
Oregon, USC, Furd, and OSU all lost.
Arizona State might have the most surprisingly anemic history in men's basketball of any program that you might think is better than it is.

Any losses in conference are definitely going to bite us in the ass bigly. Can’t wait to join a real conference.

I really can’t recall a Pac hoops season like this one we’re having in football. 5-6 teams ranked most of the season, meaning ample opportunities for quality wins from Jan to March. More often (especially recently) it’s been that our only real opportunities for good wins happen in Nov/Dec, with the occasional match up with a lower ranked Oregon or ucla or Colorado.

It’s gotten so bad that we now have to root for all these non-conference opponents we defeat throughout the season. This year, it’s go Duke and MSU!

I refuse to ever type those words. I don't want them to have bad losses, but I wont outright cheer for them.

Purdue losing that game actually moves the pressure off of them to beat us and puts the pressure on us to win that game.

So that's a good thing, these guys will have to go to Indy with a target on their back as the hunted instead of the hunters. It'll be good to be hunted by a non con, this will have some final 4 feel. That is considering we win the next few games til then.
