Gonzaga missing good shots. UCLA, as is their wont, nailing lower percentage shots.

On final possessions of Gonzaga games, I always think to myself how Mark Few is the last coach I'd want in that circumstance.

Gonzaga needs Kanowski more than we need Zeus. Good win for UCLA.

Gonzaga needs some good guards more than they need Karnowski. Their team last year was much better.

It's actually a bigger game for UCLA than AZ. UCLA is in dead last in the Pac and only has so many more chances to get quality wins.

I don't want to underestimate our guys, especially given how they played this past weekend, but everyone knows that UCLA tends to play its best games of the season vs. AZ. So getting a win at Pauley is going to be tough.

I'll be fine with a split this week. Not sure which one we'll win.

If this game is at UCLA, I see a 20 point win for the Bruins. I think your team has been climbing the college polls on a cupcake ladder.

Last time Arizona lost a game by double digits was by 11 on Valentine's day 2013. Last time we lost by as much as 20 was February 2011. That was also the last time we lost by more than 11. Arizona doesn't get blown out under Miller

I've never felt a level of desperation with an Alford led team.

But all the talk Miller had about UCLA er unnamed team, I can't imagine this game means more to UCLA than to Miller. I don't think he's ever gotten. Over that 40 point drubbing he took. I've never gotten that vibe of a lack of mental focus from Miller

Typical UCLA. Play like the better team for 37 minutes, decide to stop playing defense on 5 straight possessions, miss one of two FT's, watch Arizona miss one of two, then Bryce hits the game winner.

Nice rivalry game, but other than the Zag win, we are pretty terrible away from Pauley. I expect the return game to be a massacre

10 super bowls this year so far. With out schedule, we need 9 more wins in conference and a tournament game to make the tournament

Bryce super bowl Alford saves the day. If they had played asu tonight he would've shot 1/13 from the field for like 3 points and had 5 turnovers

Traffic, amirite, season's over, and machina. I think that about covers the rest of your posting topics here.

Arizona's season isn't over. This tête-à-tête you like engaging with is now yours alone! Have a good night!

Going to call that a solid win with some pretty fair refereeing down the stretch.

Beachcat97 wrote: Exactly. Which is why he's not going anywhere. It's good news for us because Miller is a better coach and recruiter than Alford, so we can look forward to more years of sustained superiority over UCLA. Next year could be a tough storm to weather if Alford manages to land Brown and Zimmerman; their frontcourt could be better than ours. But these one and dones (Looney, Brown) and none and dones (Bolden) aren't going to make too great an impact. At the end of the day, they're still stuck with Bryce Alford as their point guard for the foreseeable future. That's not a guy you want running an offense.

Contrary to what some of our "casual" fans (no one here) think, Walton loves Arizona. Obviously UCLA is first in his heart, but he has a lot of that tough love with them, but he is being honest. He is blunt (pun intended) when it comes to basketball itself and he calls a spade a spade. If Walton's style isn't your thing, fine, but I get tired of reading that "Walton hates Arizona, shut up Walton" posts every time he does one of our games.

And Bryce is a douche, but the kid can play and he's got nuts. I'd be lying if I said I wouldn't want him in an Arizona uniform, and lying if I denied wishing that I could catch him alone in a dark alley someday.

Ucla pretty much has no offensive flow and the defense is worse. You have a bunch of local kids who Alford ignored and they are abusing ucla. It's pretty sad

Oh well super bowl for SC.

No USC won it's super bowl on Saturday. This is mostly UCLA not wanting to play since they won theirs on Thursday. Remember, Arizona is always everyone's Superbowl in this league.
