Somewhere I made a bet that KU would land Jackson and that UA would not land either Jackson or Ferguson. Anyone with search powers want to help a brother out?

Sorry, too busy trying to find the last time a Kansas team turned the consensus #1 recruit into a Final Four.

Well played.

I miss the days we scheduled UA. The beatdowns we gave your teams was a thing of beauty.

Um...we've had some pretty big wins over KU. '97 comes to mind first, as does the time Salim dropped like 30 on you in Lawrence en route to a second half comeback. Think we won that one going away.

When I think of Kansas, I think of a team that owns the Big 12 but who has been disappointing in the tourney, particularly in years when they were the top overall seed.

Has Arizona even played Kansas since like over a decade ago? I remember beating them in Maui in I think 2005, and nothing since. If so, it's remarkable if you're even here because of some kind of Arizona v. Kansas rivalry. You must just enjoy discussing Arizona basketball on its own terms.

UA/KU has played only 12 times, with 3 of them in the NCAA tourney, last tourney meet in 2003.

Contrast that to the UA/Hardin-Simmons rivalry which has had 26 games played.

I was at McKale for that game and it was nuts. The first half was a little rocky and then we just laid down a beating in the second half. That game, the early 2000's Phog game and 2011 Duke are the most entertaining second halves in recent Arizona history. 2015 Wisconsin is the least entertaining.

So just to clarify: First you said Arizona will get neither JJ nor TF. Now you're making a signature bet that Arizona won't get JJ and TF. Do I have that back peddling right?
Hmmm. Arizona will get neither JJ or TF and KU will get one of the two. So if Arizona lands one of the two, I lose. Which I won't.

3. Michael Dickerson should teach tackling form to Arizona's football team.
4. The foamposites are sweet.

And agree on the uniforms, best ever.

Yep. Quinn Tebbs was way ahead of his time with those

Always wanted a pair of foams, but always settle for saving $70 and getting a pair of retro J's.

What I mean by that is that you made a sig bet with a particular poster. It's up to you and that poster to settle the debt. You can find him, and he can find you. But it's like losing money in a bet. If you just sit back and wait for him to come to you, that's your choice.

Hang tight a second, because this is going to come as quite the shocker (heheheh - nightmarish word for Kansas fans)...

Jeff Withey was dating 2014 Playmate of the Year Kennedy Summers.

AND...

He was cheating on her.

What's not shocking is that he's a complete dumbass and was caught easily and was even more dumb in that he gave his girlfriend all his social media passwords and now she's blowing up his shit in public.

Nice education he got in Lawrence....

I am sure this video has been seen before. One interesting fact in the second half that I didn't catch before is Roy Williams using the 1-3-1 that Lute used in future years. This was really an instant classic game where Bibby had ice in his veins and Kansas made a valiant effort at the end. Payback for the loss in Denver the year before. And I might add a good start to the start of the Arizona football/basketball 2016-17 seasons.

Lute used the 1-3-1 regularly before the 1996-97 season....

Kenny Lofton excelled on the baseline in that defense.
