Good look to CSM. Will always appreciate what he did at Arizona and the respect he showed to our program.

Will root for him to succeed.

Between now and the beginning of his success there they will hate on him the way we did Tommy. Then they'll like him.

I'm thankful Miller left a full cupboard. We wouldn't be 32-3 and heading into the second round of the NCAA tournament without Miller's hard work and dedication. I'm guilty of judging him too harshly with no real evidence. I didn't always agree with his coaching style but who cares. It won a lot of games and revived the program when it was floundering. I wish him the very best back at Xavier and will root for him unless Xavier is playing the Cats. A sincere thank you to Coach Sean Miller for all he did for us.

I vote no. Our president undermined and then fired Sean Miller. He put together the foundation for our great season. He'd still be here if he could. So, it's a special circumstance deserving special dispensation. Sean Miller is not an arch rival.

OK, Amy misses grass yards instead of gravel/desert and something about allergies blah, blah, blah...

Taking Xavier over ntU$C sounds like Amy had a big part in the decision.

I already dropped my Twitter thread in the Xavier thread updating on Miller being prime candidate this morning, and, well, we are now all best friends.

Never thought I’d find a non-Arizona program to like in college basketball especially not this late in life.

From today’s press conference (and honestly, why is this the first question someone asked these guys?):

Earlier today Sean Miller was announced that he was taking the Xavier job. Your thoughts on your former coach getting a new opportunity?

DALEN TERRY: Man, that's great for him. We're all proud of him. He was proud of us everything we did this year. I've spoken to him numerous times. That's just real good for him. I mean, he had a year off. Now he's back to coaching again. He's going to be smiling, I'm happy to see him happy again.

AZUOLAS TUBELIS: Coach Miller, he taught us a lot of things and Xavier is lucky to have him.

Seconded. If nothing else, he's an arch rival for Tommy on the recruiting trail. And he'll muddy the waters for us at every turn to get the same recruits we're after, because that's the name of the game. And while I won't blame him for it, I certainly won't be here singing his praises either.

I don't think we'll be having many recruiting battles with Xavier. If nothing else, differing styles of play

Let's keep the thread in here a little longer, not everyone is going to see this news right away. I know, crazy, but I imagine there's at least 1 or 2 people who aren't on this board every minute of the day. Maybe.

I won’t speak for other mods, but I’m not moving this thread anywhere.

Sean Miller didn’t take some other job and break our hearts. My dude was FUCKED OVER. He got just as raw a deal as the players and fans last year, if not much worse.

He’s not my arch-rival. And he will always be a Wildcat in my mind. If others disagree, someone put up a poll thread and let’s vote.
