Definitely don't see them making the FF this year.
Texas Tech is 40 in Kenpom. That puts them ahead of everyone in the Pac12 except Oregon, UCLA and UA.
They're 16-9 and 4-8 in conference and are barely an NIT level team.
10 times better than the Cal team you struggled with tonight. Plus, they are pretty good at home.
Hmmm.... interesting.

I see Cal as a 10 seed in the East; one of the last 4 byes (but just above the last 4 in).

Strangely, TTU is not even one of the first 4 out. In fact they are #8 on the WRONG side of the bubble. What do you attribute that to? West Coast bias? :lol2:

Kansas down by 11 against West Virginia with 5 and a half minutes left. Could they lose 2 in a row at home?

So glad we didn't get Josh Jackson. In addition to enabling rape, he's not all that.

This is reminiscent of Arizona's victory over Cinci in Phoenix (Simon's halfcourt shot)...

So will yours be when you flame out early in the NCAAs....You are expected to be a FF or bust with this team....anything less will be a complete failure for you guys.....I'm calling it now....possibly Elite 8 but I suspect Sweet 16 will be your end this year.

Congrats on the big win in OT at home ;-)

I would welcome a meeting for the FF with Kansas. Of course both teams have to make it that far as those sweet 16 games will be a load for either team.

In reality Kansas has had a very tough schedule and like us they have found ways to win. If we do play them we would need to make sure we play a full 40 as they are tough to kill.I do think we would win the rebounding and have our way on the interior. I think we have guys who could match up well with JJ in Alkins and Kobi so I say bring on the Hawks

Kansas is always at least pretty good. Arizona is always at least pretty good.

Enfuego's obsession with an out of conference program, in addition to his insistence of his program's (& conference's) superiority are not only the reason this thread exists - they are the reasons I'm thankful for message boards because I'm not sure where he would go put his "crazy" energy, were they not to be available to him.

JJ has to be the oldest college freshman ever not to have been in military service or church service. 20? That is unreal. To think Kahlil Tate for us in football was 17 during our last year kind of puts that in perspective

Fuck that, put us in kansas's bracket.

Kansas has wins over WVU, Duke, Kentucky, and Baylor x2. Those definitely beat our one win over UCLA.

And if we're in Kansas' bracket, then we got shipped. No thanks.

A lawyer for KU basketball star Josh Jackson offered restitution — where “money is no object, within reason” — to the family of women’s player McKenzie Calvert if they agreed not to seek charges against Jackson, according to Calvert’s father.

Tim Calvert said the offer came on Feb. 4, nearly two months after his daughter’s car was vandalized and two days after The Kansas City Star reported that Jackson and another University of Kansas men’s player were people of interest in the case.

“They wanted to pay to make it all go away,” Calvert said. “But it wouldn’t have gone away for my daughter. It would have been great for Josh, but not for McKenzie. ... This was
