This year is a true tossup for the National Championship. Houston lost to Kansas by a bunch. The most consistent teams as of late are Houston and UCONN but neither is the clear favorite to cut down the nets.

There, now no one has to worry about losing to Princeton!

Iowa St is damn impressive. Just dismantling Houston and kicking sand in their faces. Their coach is solid.

It’s now 62-32. 4:32. Only 9 points 2nd half

Absolute disaster for Houston.

Down goes Florida Atlantic.

March Madness is going to be wild this year.

Never seen a team happier than New Mexico who just punched their ticket with a win over San Diego St. The MWC was a darn good league this year

Bad year for teams on the bubble. Worried about Colorado if they lose to Oregon.

Interesting. Long Beach State has terminated their coach (Don Monson) but was allowing him to play out the season since Irvine and San Diego were prohibited favorites to win the conference title. Guess what LB State just won and will be heading to the NCAA tourney. Great story.

That’s crazy. I think his name is Dan. His dad was Don.

He was the coach who put Zaga on the map.

Long Beach State is our game 1 opponent per espin bracketology this morning.

Imho it should be Riptide.

During the Colorado St./Virginia game they said Virginia hasn't won a tournament game since they won it all in 2019?! What in the world is going on over there?

What player in their right mind would want to play in Bennet's system? He's good when he has players for a few years, but with the portal the way it is who would want to play that way for 3-4 years?

They haven’t gotten out of the first round the last 7 tourneys except the one where they won it all. In that time they’ve lost to two 13 seeds and the infamous 16 seed.

I mean, the guy just won them a national championship 5 years ago, I'm sure he has a little leeway

But his brand of basketball is godawful boring. Yes it produces wins in the regular season, but if yearly you’re also losing in the first round it begins to drag on a fan base.

Oh I agree, but winning that title I assume would give you some safety

I agree it does give you some safety, but at some point that has to wane with multiple bad early exits in tournament (with decent seeds most of time).
