Just had a bench clearing scrum. This might be interesting how they officiate all those players leaving the bench

Big win for Texas. With this win and a tight lose to KU it might be enough for the tourney as long as they don't step on their dick the rest of the way.

When did it become the job of Jay Bilas, during a telecast, to point out all the calls that he feels the refs missed? It is really getting annoying!

Just curious why it's annoying? I wish I'd hear it more often than from my own mouth during a game...

Anti-Jayhawk or not last night's Kansas game was highly entertaining.

West Virginia is the type of gritty squad I would not want to face early in the tourney. They would stuff up our offense so badly.

West Virginia is a horrible shooting team. Horrible. That team would not put up more than 50 on us.

Murray state might have a tiny chance at an at large bid. They would be 27-5 and winners of 25/26 games.

Ill take the virginia loss. Another loss may bump them to a 2 now, before it may not have mattered

Watching Belmont and Murray State in the championship game in the Ohio Valley. Murray State blew it. They had a 2 point lead with under 10 seconds to go. They got the rebound and threw it away. Belmont hit a 3-point shot with 3.2 seconds to go to win. Belmont goes dancin' and 25th ranked Murray State goes home, or the NIT. Let March Madness begin.

Only if it happens before the tournament final. They lose in a close one to Duke and I still think they are a 1 seed, although maybe the lowest overall.

What I'm "worried" about is we end up as a 2 in a stacked west (weakest 1, strongest 2 and they stack the rest since it has the weakest 1).

The old Zags #1 us #2 weak #3 (like Notre Dame) was a good set up. Us as a #1 likely avoids the worst set ups.

Totally agree. I care a lot more about us staying in the West - and who we get here with us - than I do about whether we are a 1 or a 2 seed.

In a perfect world - I want us and the Zags to win out and for Nova to lose in their conf tourney. To make things perfect, let UNC with the ACC tourney - and we would definitely be #1 in the West and likely #2 overall - which means we have Gonzaga as a 2 (I doubt they make the Elite 8) and we should not get killed with a brutal 3 seed. Beyond the top 3 seeds I do not care...

The old set up was Zags 1, us 2 and teams like Notre Dame 3. That was great; we'd crush the shit out of ND in Los Angeles and there was probably a just over 50/50 that the Zags would still be around in the elite 8 game and then worst case scenario was we have a rematch with them in Los Angeles for the final four spot. I could totally dig that.

Your situation is one of the reasons why I don't want the Zags to lose tonight. If we are the West 1 and Zags are the West 2, that's party time as far as brackets go. But if the Zags lose and we don't make the one line, we could end the 2 in the West with the Zags 3 and that sucks and some good east coast team shipped as the 1, which would suck.

It will be very interesting to see how it shakes out.

Dumb and undisciplined. Roy needs to work on a retirement plan.

Duke will be getting an inflated 1 seed next Sunday. Like others have pointed out, this doesn't matter as long as Arizona is viewed as the strongest of the 2 seeds and stays out West.

Anything else, though...it's uphill.

I think it's a 100% done deal that we're the 1 or 2 in the west. Even if we do something like lose to UCLA in the semis worst case is 2 in the west.

I'm hoping the Badgers get dumped into Kentucky's bracket as a #2. Dumped the way you throw busted lawn furniture into a dumpster. And while at it stick Ohio State with an 8/9 seed in the same region.
