Ball misses two free throws, then tosses one in from 30 feet to end half, 50-50. Teams combined hit 22 threes. Insane.

Pac is obviously weaker this season than last, and it's not like we were all that great last year. Expect 4 teams to get in. UCLA is the only lock at the moment.

I think 6 could get in. I think ucla / zona / ducks / Trojans are locks.

The bubble teams will be Colorado and Cal.

Utah will be a NIT type team if lucky.

Wash isn't good. And wazzu/assu/Stanford/beavs flat stink.

Stanford is actually likely a bubble team (Not by BC97's definition, but the actual definition), they will have finished their OOC schedule at 8-4 with the toughest schedule in the Pac 12. They are better than Cal and right on par if not better than Colorado.

Anyone watch the Virginia-Cal game last night? One of weirdest clock decisions I have ever seen referees make. The clock malfunctioned and stopped for a few seconds during a Cal's possession late. The refs are called over to the table to review. They adjust the time and give Cal a shot clock violation! Crazy.

Sadly that's how the rules are set up. NBA is the same. I think that play should be restarted from the point of clock malfunction, but they'd have to make a change for that. It's just a rare event though. The bigger takeaway from that game was just how Cal still isn't that great, despite the hype every year.

I haven't found any pictures of the game to verify, but I really doubt that many people actually were there. It was probably more like 2-3 thousand.

Yeah it's pretty darn important. One doesn't want to say the first game of the season can determine a conference title and I won't say that, but if UCLA gets this one watch out...

It's the RR basketball offense. Just get up more shots then the other team and don't turn it over and lose possessions.

Ironically, UCLA getting rushed on here will lead to a new rule against rushing the court before a player of student getting seriously injured.

shut up Bill. go smoke a bowl.

Only because Junior can't hit a free throw. Oregon had to hit two very tough threes and to their credit they did.

UCLA choked at the end, especially Alford. You still have to give it up to Oregon for making some touch shots at the end.

Thank God. Hopefully ESPN and the likes will get off of the "Balls Nuts" for a second now. If I have to see another clip of a "Ball Brother" schooling a 5'5" high school player or calling a half court shot where most kids would get pulled for that bull shit, I'll probably barf. Way to go Alford. You got the package deal from the media hungry Dad. Anyways, I don't mean to pile on and UCLA does look pretty good this year.

I wanted Oregon to win but ucla should have gotten the tech after the court rush. Your Oregon man, don't rush.

Rushing the court within 5 minutes of a games end should always be a tech.

I'm not stressing it. One FT wasn't going to make a difference and you can't rely on the refs in a road game. It was two clutch shots and a choke job by Bruce. We weren't going undefeated anyhow
