ASU is overmatched by Kentucky just like 99% of college basketball.

Eh well they're putting up about as much of a fight as a team much below the Pac 12 would.

I'm with you here. I don't think anybody in the Pac keeps it close with Kentucky, but ASSu looks like Marathon Oil out there.

They were pretty pathetic tonight at both ends of the floor. It looked like they were attempting to run a 5 out set that ended with a screen and jacked up 3 pointer.

Through seven games, ASU’s 56.4 defensive 2-point field-goal percentage is worst among power-conference schools. As a result, ASU has allowed 100 points in back-to-back games for the first time since 1998.
From Haller. Good job, Bobby!

If ASU reflected Hurley's personality, I assume a lot of them would have pitched fits and been ejected prematurely.

Hurley needs to focus more on his own failures as opposed to just throwing his team under the bus. In watching a few of ASU's games this year it is readily apparent that they are a poorly coached team. (And much like UA football, they suffer from failing to recruit enough big men.) Their offense is terrible - just a bunch of isolation and then jacking up a ton of ill-advised threes. His version of in-gaming coaching is just scowling on the sidelines and screaming at the refs. Putting Hurley and Miller on a split-screen during a game is incredibly telling. I think Hurley is realizing that he made a huge mistake taking the ASU job. His name recognition is not enough to polish that turd. Getting curb-stomped by every decent opponent they play is not going to help his cause. In fact, AZCentral today has an article about how GCU is putting ASU on notice.

all good points. he was ok in his couple years at buffalo and he was hoping to probably leverage a 3-4 year stint at asu where he got them back into the tournament and at least into the minds of some big time recruits into a big time big east or acc job.

Are schools still allowed to limit transfer options? For example, can ASU limit him from transferring in-conference?

Yes. If both schools agree, he only needs to sit out 1 year. If ASU does not agree, he would need to sit out 2 years. That's the way the rules have been for years, but they may have changed.

Probably safe to assume ASU won't agree to him transfer within conference. Leaves a few options in the Pacific Northwest.

Hurley picked up his second technical and was ejected at the 9:47 mark, at which point the Aggies led 62-47.
'Pre-mature Ejection Man' strikes again! What a tool and so deserved of the ASSU gig, lmao.

And so typical of the ASU fan base low IQ....Per their Scout site: http://www.scout.com/college/arizona-st ... t-cunliffe
Team is better without Cunliffe.
Plays so much better as a TEAM without Sam C.
Wish him the best and all, but he was holding these other guys back.
Synergy is awesome vs. NMSU.

Well, was I right or was I right? Getting kicked out fast for no reason is becoming his specialty. Cunliffe was just emulating his coach in bailing early.

So Hurley has projected Himself into his team as they give two hard fouls then 2 guys get run for instigating an altercation. One from ASSU and XJ from CU.

Agreed on XJ and him being such a tool.....was shocked as sh&t to see he was still on the roster for CU while doing my own prepping for this week......can't stand this tool and now have to suffer another year of him.

I remember his trash talking the UA.....Hope the students ride him hard during our game.

PS. Having said this, too bad they lost to ASSU, lol.

Just saw P12 show and they showed Hurley in the locker room after their win over Rado. Evidently his line to his players on incoming opponents is: '....if they want to get a win here they'd better go to Tucson!' LMAO.

Nice try Bobby Boy....over the past four years we are 50-1 I believe.....how's ASSU's home record again? What a tool.....suggest you try some baby steps before shooting your mouth off like that. Smh.

Soooooo........since Johnson was ejected with a flagrant 2 foul, doesn't that mean he misses his next game, thus we won't have to deal with him here in Tucson?
