Closing the gap! (speaking of Paola)

ASU has more home losses this year than UA has in 4 years.

In all fairness to Bobby, what is he supposed to say to fire his team up?

I think the speech came after the game, so really all he should have said was "be smart tonight and try not to roofie anyone".

So time for the scum to come to town. ASU is giving up 82+ points a game this year. Has given up 90+ 5 times. Unless we have a complete crap show shooting, we should run up the score on them.

i haven't looked forward to the asu game in years, but am kinda psyched now thanks to hurley's big mouth. even though CSM and the players have sorta brushed off the hurleyisms, i hope it pushes them to practice that much harder and play just a little nastier on thursday. and with the zoo back in the house during syllabus week, it should be a pretty good time. :D

Alcohol and watching that team play should go hand in hand.

Now if they could only get a backcourt of Jack Daniels & Johnnie Walker with Jim Beam coming off the bench they would be all set.

Miss his graphics, and he also posted the pic of Chen with the ball on his fingertips and the backboard light red.

I'm not sure? Message boards are odd. Mach & I had a couple beefs but squashed them in private messages each time. I really enjoyed Katz's work though so I miss that/him for sure.

I miss Katz too! Appreciated his humor.

Back on topic....Other than giving our Phoenix fans / recruits a chance to see us, playing at ASU is just a huge lose/lose. Having to deal with their dbag fans, Ricky-Booby Hurley with his sideshow temper tantrums (new nickname "Sideshow Bob" ala The Simpsons? ;-) ), and fending off the rare upset just sucks.....still pissed we dropped a couple there with our super teams.

Ughhh, thank God I can't see this game live and will just wake up to the news here....It'll either be an expected win and hope for no injuries, or a minor chance of starting the day with a swift, brutal, embarrassing kick to the nuts!

BTFD and let's hope Kobi pulls it together, Dusan gets back to form, Lauri's 3 point shot reappears as expected, and Kadeem gets back to his full bad-ass form.....am I missing anyone here team?

"Curtain of distraction" is there to compliment the "Curtain of Dejection" they put up around the stadium to mask the empty seats and pathetic fan base.

So 2 years in Hurley is 29-34 so far and 12-24 in pac 12 games. Finished 11th in the league last year and 8th this year. Had the #21 class in the country this year. Actually has the #15 class coming in 2017 with 2 top 100 recruits. But they're losing Graham and Oleka to graduation who are arguably 2 of their top 3 players. Next year Hurley will have 3 senior starters in Justice, Holder and Evans. 3 of them plus the 3 incoming recruits makes them an OK team. If he doesn't go to the tournament next year with 3 seniors and a top 15-20 recruiting class is he on the hot seat in 2018-2019? Next year is an opportunity for ASU to break through and be the #4 pac 12 team behind us, Oregon and UCLA.

nope. just happened to look in this thread. and the last thing i've done is defend them from any and all criticism. i've said over and over and over and over again that they aren't great, aren't my favorite and some of them are pretty gross. but they are absolutely nowhere as bad and as deserving of the endless bitching that happens on here.
